Introduction of Mini-Games and Third-Person Avatar Mode

Hello everyone,

I would like to propose the addition of two features that I believe would significantly enhance the gaming experience in Planet Coaster 2:

1. Mini-Games Inspired by Thrillville:

Incorporating mini-games, similar to those found in Thrillville, would provide players with engaging and interactive activities within the park, increasing visitor engagement and diversifying entertainment options.

For instance, the ability to design and build custom go-kart tracks, allowing visitors to enjoy thrilling races, would add a unique element of fun and interaction.

2. Third-Person Avatar Mode:

Introducing a third-person mode that allows players to control an avatar within the park would offer a more immersive and personal experience, enabling exploration of creations from a unique perspective.

I believe these additions could further enrich the gaming experience and offer new opportunities for interaction and fun.

My two cents: please don't... please no Minigames... It's like when people asked for a "Ride Operator Mode" that would be "fun" for 5 Minutes, then you are done pressing the same Button over and over again. I played these Flash Games where you operated the Haunted Mansion and stuff. But after a very short while it became highly repetitive. Not something i want to do if i am busy managing the whole Park. Just my opinion.

In all fairness…the Planet Coaster 2 soundtrack does include an 8-bit version of the main theme. Can’t help but wonder if this is a sign of things to come 🤔

I understand your concern about minigames potentially becoming repetitive. However, if implemented as an optional feature, they could provide a more immersive experience for those who wish to explore and enjoy the park from a different perspective. Since it’s an additional option, it wouldn’t affect those who prefer to focus solely on park management. Why not offer this possibility to those who might appreciate it?

i didn't want to shoot you down completely, but i think they should focus on different things right now. And if the Minigames make sense, and don't feel shoehorned in and are Fun(!), then it is fine with me. What i don't want is half arsed Carnival Games... in my mind this is not what the Game is about.
