Is any else not seeing their “First Discovered by” not appearing on the system map?

Not all systems have that though, maybe it's a case of that? Many systems are without the tags, can't recall the explanation better than they had been mapped out in earlier history or something like that, systems no one could discover even on day one of Elite but were already mapped out in every ship database.

exploration is dead. i had a system with a primary black hole with 3 neutron stars round it and i first discovered. NOTHING where i am now is first discovered tags. i have bookmarked some places which i found just so i could go back and look and the systems completely not therte now. none of my book marks show ANY name on and i cant find my black hole system with 3 neutron stars at all - its like they regenerated the whole galaxy. and im stuck out halfway to Sag A* which is 270 jumps away and i wonder what point there is to exploring - its too much hassle just for a little money but the first discovery was exciting for me. now im looking at something that has become a CHORE and no fun at all just to get back to the bubble. thanks for killing exploration Frontier.

Wondered what whas wrong also. I was preparing a new exploration trip back to a previously discovered system but through another road and didn't see any discovery tag.

Then I checked in the bubble and I am not seeing anything either...

OMG! I'm currently at SAG A after having gone around to the far side of the galaxy and now cutting through the middle to cash in at Colonia. If all my stuff has been lost I will have lost a month's worth of exploration data. And if any of my previously discovered systems are no longer tagged I'm going to stop playing and will uninstall and will probably sit in a corner and sulk for a very long time.

I doubt very much that anything is lost, probably just a display bug. Hopefully it’s simply server lag preventing the info from being fetched.

Exploration is pretty hosed though until this gets fixed.

Did some testing, I can reliably get tags in systems I didnt visit before. But if I go back again, or open previously visited system in galmap, the tags wont load. The data is there, it just not being displayed properly often.

Yeah my first discoveries are gone as well.

When looking at some of my bookmarked but older systems that I discovered out and about.
