Yes but now we are discussing if in the future it will be possible to reintroduce then into the wild. Also approximately how long it might take for that.

Well I would hope they would think about food sources because if what they preyed on is not in abundance like it was or is endangered and protected its going to miserably fail

Oh there is plenty food, there is so much deer that have to be culled by humans just to stop them destroying every forest , roughly about 350,000 a year.

Red, Sika, Fallow, Roe, Reeves Muntjac, and Chinese water deer. Most of the 2 million deer population is Roe Deer.
