Is anyone now playing the game without issues on PC?

Getting some issues with mission USSs not spawning mission targets, but that's it. Still playable, just need to find targets elsewhere.

The biggest issue I'm having right now is Christmas carollers on my street...!

I played last weekend, and on Saturday I got a really bad lock up a few times. It was while I was in supercruise, and it froze for about 30 seconds on two different occasions. I was also playing in VR. When I played Sunday it locked up for a couple of seconds while I was collecting some mats after I finished an assassination mission.

Well, I gave it another go tonight.

It was okay I guess... But yeah I had a few issues with FPS. Patch is needed soon IMO.

Yeah, this seems to be one of the buggiest content drops in some time. Shortly after 3.3 was released, I had my UI lock up forcing me to log out and in again. Day after that, all my bindings were reset (but I haven't had a UI lockup since, so maybe it was the game's way of telling me the problem was in the bindings?). Played for an hour yesterday and I encountered that pause bug where the game freezes and then recovers (in my case, only about 2-3 seconds). Lastly, I see that surface recovery missions are still bugged. The "searching" HUD element (when looking for the salvage location) doesn't animate properly and glides around the HUD in an odd fashion, and when it finally does settle on a location, there is a 50-50 chance that the salvage will remain invisible until you land and deploy the SRV (the salvage will then suddenly appear). I reported this bug during the last beta, but we know how Frontier handles less than critical beta bug reports.... Oh, lastly, there seems to be a visual glitch when looking at your SRV headlights from inside the cabin. They often appear low resolution with a strange gray haze around them. This also happened to me during the beta but after updating my GPU drivers, the problem disappeared. Now it is back again.

So, yeah, this is a buggy release to say the least. Nothing game-breaking so far, but a lot of rough edges.

EDIT: I jinxed myself. Just had my controls lock up twice in about 10 minutes. I never accessed the Codex once.

Not too many issues here.

1 crash to desktop.
1 loss of controls on arrival at a new system.
Regular comms server failures.

And quite a few transient freezes, but much shorter than others have reported; usually only half a second or so. This could be due to the fact that I have the game installed on a very fast PCIe SSD. Or that I am using a GTX1080ti.

Hi Troz Have some Rep+1 just for getting me thinking: your knowledge is obviously way beyond mine... I'm having these glitches..and have the game installed on a blisteringly fast onboard Samsung M.2 SSD (1TB) ...AND... Graphics courtesy of an RTX2080 8GB GDDR6... (CPU is 9th gen i7-9700K all with no OC'ing tho)
So from what you intimate...should I be expecting problems from over-specced hardware?? Sure got me thinking here!

Yep 3rd day in a row my screen freezes and I have to bail out of the game for fear that I'm still actually flying and will run into a planet or star. Not sure if it unfreezes at all or not, but playing it safe, I have to bail out of the game each time and reload it. Giant pain in the butt...

I've experience freeze ups when I'm in the FSS a few times; maybe 3 or 4 times. That's since the Beta went live. Its nothing I can't deal with.

I played sole from early access until about 2 months ago. I've had many funny things happen since I started playing Open. The big one was when I was DC docking at a very familiar base in my new Vette and after I entered the slot my ship did a head-over-nose 180 and I was facing the slot upside down, the Holo graphic showed this also, then the rotation started again and it did another 180 nose over and was now facing the back of the station. However, the holo graphic showed me pointing backwards upside down. I could not finish my dock even though there was no ship under me and my gear was down. I just blamed it on latency or whatever. It was strange, I suppose the holo image has more influence than I thought. I've never had any problems remotely like that in Solo. (sorry, I've wanted to type that for days)

Too much for now. GL HF

You've jogged my memory about something: it was mentioned on another thread that using the hotkey to get into the codex (the "press O to view" that pops up when you discover something) seemed to be connected to the loss of controls bug. Not really investigated that yet, but not impossible if UI logic related.

- The loss of controls bug happened to me for the very first time today. It happened on the first jump to the very next system after having used the "O" key to access the Codex (in the system before the jump). I had to quit the game and restart.
- In a CZ my "fire at will" wouldn't work (Cutter with 4 turreted lzrs). They would not fire at all. I had to switch to "target only", use it in this mode for a bit, switch back and then it worked. Never happened before. Maybe just a glitch.
- Game freezing for ~20 seconds happened to me a few times already, usually when bounty hunting in Haz Res. The game seems to pause during this time because it seems to resume from the exact point it paused.
- Shorter occasional freezes too... < 5 sec or so.
- I assigned all the new FSS keys to an XBox controller so that I wouldn't have to modify anything on my Hotas. Now when I start the game and forget to turn on the XBox controller, all my Hotas keys get messed up. I have to remember to start the Xbox controller first before starting the game, otherwise I have to quit, turn on the XBox controller and then restart the game.
- I always play in VR. When controlling the SLF, when I try and select "Attack Target" for example, the SLF menu jumps between selecting "Attack Target" and "Recall SLF", even though I am looking directly at "Attack Target". Often the "Recall SLF" gets selected instead, way more often than it used to in the previous version.

Yup, 10 to 15sec freezes. In borderless windowed mode the game runs choppy now. You really see the microstuttering when panning around with trackir and fast dog fights with fps between 90 and 120. Runs silky smooth in full screen though. Anyone else have this Microstutter issue?

Played 4 or 5 hours today with nothing of note occurring.Matter of fact things seemed to have stabilized and I may be imagining it but things are changing such as NPC behaviour around stations/passenger mission variation with more luxury passengers/ my ship does not cook as easy scooping fuel.

The only thing that is still happening to me is a small micro stutter around the same point (I'll take note of distance next time) as I approach destination in frame shift.

I've been fine after the first day bedlam was over.
I've done a bunch of missions, mining and Rez hunting with no issues. However, I haven't been in a a CZ yet. I'll have to give it a try.

Bindings dumped everytime I re-launch the game. For some reason backup files don't seem to work for me anymore.

Sometimes while re-doing my mountain of bindings, ED freezes and won't respond until I try to kill the process, at which point it will ask if I want to quit. One time I pressed cancel and ED was back to normal, rest of the times were instant CTD.

Long freezes while in Supercruise

Disconnects from server while in Wing
