Hi guys,
I recently got a GTX 970 that gives me 90-200 FPS at 1080p and ~25-50 FPS at 4K. Right now I am using my TV and home theatre, so can only display 1080p.
Downsampling is great for games with wavy thin things like grass and foliage... I get a noticable improvement in graphics in Shadow of Mordor and Dark Souls II for example (DSII being NVidia's poster child for their downsampling tech).
However, ED is much more sparsely populated with stuff, and I can't quite make up my mind whether downsampling is better for general use. It does make fantastic 4K and 16K screenies though
!.
Any thoughts?
