This will go well. I predict it will go the same way ALL of the other threads that suggest this go.

When I see these threads, the first thing I think is "I don't have enough targets, lets get rid of solo mode so I can have more targets."

At some point accusations of "hiding" come about in order to shame solo players. Solo players don't care about the opinion that open players have.

Sometimes it comes about that people want this to be dark souls in space.

Anyway, enjoy.

I have a little confession to make.

I play mostly in Open.

And it gives me no greater pleasure than to block those that try to gank me on sight without verbal interaction.

(Does not apply to CG blockades or PP related interactions, those can be fun)

Some new players keep on saying they get bored after hours of playing. As I think the game didnt offer them the feelings of being buthurt, nervous, scared and in danger.

It is the reason they keep on saying the game is empty.

Sorry OP but we're all still outraged over console EDO or lack of right now.

Can we do this tedious runaround in a week or two?

I choose to exercise my rights to not be someone lese gameplay. Even if that game play is nothing more than cluttering up my system chat, or trying to communicate with me in game.

I play open mostly and don't fear random PvP. I'm not in favor of killing solo either. The pad blocker is the lowest of scum far worse than any murder hobo. You can take my life but not my landing pads!

It started at the very beginning with a complete lack of understanding of why players actually play solo, then right into the argument that removing solo will bring players back to the game with almost no transition, reason of justification, so it's an almost perfect example of this type of thread, way to go OP, short and to the point. Now there are hudnreds of pages of similar discussion linked in the thread so off you go and learn why some players won't play Open and why removing solo won't bring players back because that's not the reason they left in the first place!
