Is the Docking Queue real yet?

Seriously. Dows it actually exist or is it just something the traffic controls say? Because a queue would be great so that I don't have to guess when an NPC is going to block my T9 in the mailbox.

Idk. It's pretty great when an uppity cobra thinks they have right of way and ends up smeared between the mail slot and my corvette. It's very satisfying to hear that pop.

This would be good, and only active when busy. Busy station tell you when its busy, use this as a trigger to open up the queue function. When traffic level drop disable queue

Very useful on community goals, I have seen many T9s slamming brakes on

Honestly you would think they might design stations with bigger doors. Nothing bigger than a beluga can really exsit in game cause of this. I kinda feel like it might be a scale thing.. if the station was a couple times larger the slot would be huge.

Its real when you use a docking computer, sometimes it waits in the queue for another ship, before it enters.

Depends how close you are when you request docking.

It's annoying having people see the docking computer as a crutch. I can land perfectly fine myself thank you, I just like to relax and listen to the music instead, is that a crime?

What if you need to smuggle something in? Queuing would guarantee you got caught. It's bad enough trying to smuggle over 400 tonnes of narcotics into a port where it's illegal in an Anaconda without a queue blocking my way!

On a side note, why did I only find out the goods were illegal for my source and return wing mission AFTER I'd got the goods and was jumping back to the mission system! Luckily I only needed to deliver 1080 tons (third and final run I chose to do in my python), but still....

Tell me game if I'm going to have to smuggle using a God d*mn conda! The only bright side is at least I learned the conda can smuggle if needs be...

What kind of money per unit are you making with this? I was getting from memory like 4500 per unit profit on imperial slaves but after the patch this seems more like 2500.

Whats really good about the docking computer is it lets you come on here and make a post while it plays some nice music for you :)

I made 3-4 mil profit for a smidge over 1k tons for a search and return wing mission. That's probably quite bad.

And yes, I agree. You are free to do anything while you dock, including going for a toilet break ;)

I'm exactly the same. I even refused to have a docking computer for the first few years and only started using them last year. Like you I like to relax and listen to the music, which I never tire of! :D
