I took some screenshots the other day of a new bug I discovered. That's all I did, and I'll probably delete them next time I'm cleaning files. I don't even have the will to sign into this new bug reporting system (Would I be Old Duck or would I be Duck & Jenny?) let alone the will to upload screenshots and give Frontier detailed reports that will then be ignored until PS5 is released.

The sad thing is I bet someone at Frontier is reading this and feeling HAPPY that they no longer need to deal with my "nagging" reports... [insert 'shrugs shoulders' emoji]

Funny how these kind of posts start showing up now. I've been saying for a looooong time Frontier has been severely underperforming when it comes to Q&A and fixing bugs in their game. It won't get any better let me tell you that. It will most likely get even worse now due to having to vote to get a bug fixed. I foresee players begging other players to upvote their bug report.

If we made a fist and stomp it right into their face letting them know it's not okay, instead of poking them with your finger. But yeah not going to happen. You can thank the ignorant and white shiny knights who're gloriously coming to Frontier's defense for this one.

The search function seems, well... next to useless to be honest. I just visited it again to check on an issue I had previously commented on and couldn't find it - at all.

I had previously voted on a couple of the confirmed issues and I did manage to find them, although on one of them my vote seemed to have disappeared, so I voted on it again - let's see if it sticks this time.

What happened to the idea of being 'able to easily track and check on issues that we are interested in'?

It's a bit of a mess frankly. I hope they're actively working on improving it because if not I may have to subscribe to the conspiracy theory that the new Issue Tracker is actually a device to kill off pesky bug reporting altogether.

I hate to say this but improving the issues tracker isn't rated high on Frontier's to-do list. This includes fixing bugs. In fact in general Frontier shows a lack of progress and direction with this game. Their '100 men' strong team is bringing out content at a really slow pace, especially considering that they don't do any quality of life updates between their content updates. Also delaying new content (most likely shelving is what they really mean). I hear Frontier bragging about their 100 men strong team, bragging about fixing 2000 bugs. I'm not seeing the quality and care here though on my end.

But well as long as those micro transactions keep happening... They will just keep on going in the direction they're going. I'm suspecting that they're simply lying and diverting part of the ED team towards other projects. Lying, not communicating is what they're experts at.

Have you looked at the new patch notes? Not a single PS4-specific reference. Now some of the bugs I think of as PS4 bugs may be cross-platform (like the stupid menu bounce bug, disappearing stars outside the bubble, etc), but I don't see any of these bugs listed as fixed, either. In fact, not a single bug I've reported has been fixed according to the patch notes. But they did take the time to tell us about how they fixed some obscure art in the DBX cockpit - you know, because that is such a very important bug..

I'm so glad I didn't waste my time logging into the new bug reporting system. The whole thing is a sham, as is ED on PS4.

After much consideration - i believe the answer is yes - its knackered. First you need to make a notice which remains 'confirming' for god knows how long depending on who knows what priority from FDEV, before it can become 'confirmed' - which means not much except people can now vote for it...until it becomes 'acknowledged'? And then what...how long until it becomes fixed?

I mean at least you can see you're being repeatedly ignored and of course with no way to sort bugs between platforms....seems like a lot of probably bot controlled interfaces that do nothing to fix anything. As usual - the biggest and most talked about PC bugs on reddit will still probably get the most attention...
