is there a new UI DEV at work since 2.3 ?

something i wondered since the bad implementation of multicrew and everything new that followed.

Is there a new DEV at work, doing all those things so totally inconsistent and worse then before?
like someone who got the job without beeing introduced how things worked until then, or simply ignoring it.

just as example:
"services" filter on the galmap.

on the surface, just a simply copy&paste of the existing ones,
but when you try to use it, it has next to nothing in common with the other ones,
as you can't select multiple of them at once, nor does it support the "population based dot size modifier"

other places where i notice inconsistency, is the lack of entry sorting, eg. the guardian tech broker interface, or the module storage

or great new features like the collector limpets "blacklist" filter where the player has no way to edit the blacklist,
nor having the IMHO more logical "whitelist" based filter for what we want them to pick up.

more and more, playing elite dangerous, i get reminded by the movie "Iron sky", scenes like this one come into my mind:

geniuses at work, but disconnected from reality and always trying to reinvent the wheel.

I think it was some of the devs' kids or relatives who came in for holiday Work Experience and then they didn't want to remove their code for fear of hurting their feelings.

Are you sure it wasn't bring your pet to work day?....some of the features bear the uncanny hallmark of a Labrador's coding.
