My game froze and wouldn't properly crash, so I had to force kill the program from the task manager. Now when I try to resume the franchise zoo that froze, the game crashes on the loading screen. I have been able to load a second saved franchise zoo successfully, so it's definitely something wrong with my first zoo.
I tried "loading" the zoo from the "my zoos" tab, but as far as I can tell there's no way to actually load an earlier save? There are several saves available, including an autosave, but the options on each are "'go to franchise" and "delete"; no matter which save I pick, "go to franchise" simply takes me back to the regular franchise loading tab and attempts to resume at the same place that keeps crashing.
Am I missing something obvious? Does anyone have any ideas on how to restore an earlier stable save? If not, I'm going to have to start all over...
