Is there an influense bug?

I've been trying to win an election for the faction I support "Honey Badgers' Corp." in the Laukese system.

And everything I do seems to just make them lose even more, is it other players it could b or is it something else like a bug?

I'm on horizons and pc. If anybody is looking for a home system playing with bsg you can join my squadron 2244, it's only me and I haven't been very active lately.

What are you doing? In elections only actions that help with the election help (basically election missions) - INF is locked while the election is on. Station News should tell you who is winning each day. Lots of guides pinned at the top of this forum (a but out of date, but should be good for Elections).

I did 4 (20 mission) courier jobs,+ some follow up planetary scan. only took influence as reward, and then I did some road to riches selling exploration data.

I havent really set up too do any of the hatchet breaking jobs.

Also my faction is loosing system control to a miner faction, there is some expanstion going on so It might be another player facrion breaking into the system.

Probably worth adding some trading as well, since you own plenty of stations.

Looking at the influence history for the system, yes, you're definitely being deliberately attacked here. So the key thing is to do more than the other side, and that might be a lot.

You can have a look at the traffic report in local station news to see what sort of numbers you might be dealing with (don't forget to subtract your own jumps into the system)

The traffic report says an anaconda and a phyton traveled over 10 times each. I don't have the motivation to beat that.

That's basically no traffic at all my dude.

Anyway your system has over 3 Billion population. That means anything you do is worth very little since system population affects that. Even so if you're the only one working an Election and several randos decided to do some missions for your enemy you'll just lose. BGS is not very kind my friend.
