Is this a new record for system with most planetary bodies ?

Looking at universal cartographics it might be but I might not be looking at the right page.
I was looking at https://docs.google.com/presentatio...rFnj6j2hc/edit?pli=1#slide=id.g6c9b8a7c3_3_19

Mine has :
117 items(1 on entry, 116 on honking)
113 total bodies(and 4 asteroid belts)
109 planetary bodies

I don't mind giving out the system name as I am not fussed about being first to discover(currently it is vacant)

I guess asteroid belts don't count (especially as a belt contains multiple bodies), but it is a nice system nonetheless!

I do believe actual total bodies record is 112(I found 113, not including the asteroid belts), and planetary bodies record is 108(I found 109). Hence why I was asking to see if I was correct :)

Wow, great find there! 117 is a lot, that might be the record. My personal best is 108 but I know the actual record is more than that. I forget how much though....

Can you imagine what kind of mythology primitive people in that system would have made up, to explain away all those dancing lights in the sky.

"And then the great God DogNose came, and sneezed, and 100 dancing fairies were born of his sneeze-stuff, which swirl around the skies in strange patterns..."

That's a pretty cool thought actually.....

And now I want a mod for KSP that puts Kerbin into a 117 planetary object system with multiple stars and binary planets!!!!!

Enjoy Scanning them all! Ahhh.... the grind....

But on which of the planets they'd live?

Good point - there are no Earth-likes; there are a few planets with some form of atmosphere which I'd assume couldn't support human life currently; but perhaps they could at some point in the past.

It'd be a shame if 'God' built such a beautiful system, and no one was around to see it! :) I'd really pity anyone who tried to build a Orrery of that system. I think their evolution would go: Cure all diseases - done. Get cold-fusion working - done. Build a working Orrery of the system we live in.... still working on it.

DW dopey :D I fell behind the masses after I had to go away for 3 months (again guys, no prison jokes :D ) to work up North.

Nice! I took a slight detour as well and am currently on my way. Maybe we can up meet up there?

Good idea, look up this system and tell me how far you are ? I am going to all the DW WPs and am currently on towards WP10. I play in KAMZEL group.(which to me is more authentic whilst doing DW)

I'm a couple thousand LY away from The Abyss along the galactic meridian. So I might get there first, but I am planning on hanging out for several days (weeks?) to conduct extensive SRV tests. My completely insane experiment will probably require at least 1Mm of driving. :D So I'll most likely be here when you arrive. I plan on hitting any missed way points on my return trip, but for now I just want to get there as quickly as possible to increase my odds meeting fellow DWEs.
