It's about time. Wish me luck.

Sometimes, I guess, a picture is really worth a thousand words.
This is the general route I plan to do. I've already been to Sag. A*, by the way, but EDSM doesn't know about it because I went there when the original game logs where extremely scarce in informations so no badge for me. And I want it ;-)

The trip will total around 140K ly If my calculations are correct. I'll be up to Beagle Point, then back to Sag. A* and then to Colonia.
I'll probably be back well after Odiseey is out, and probably well out of the bug fixing storm that will surely follow the launch.

My goal? Explore. Everything I like to. I'll land on countless planets, scan what I need deserves to be scanned.

This is the Millennium Phantom, the ship that will be used to do this endeavour.

I'll be gone for a while, so please, forward all messages to Shinrarta Dezhra :)

The black awaits you.
I'm out there too. A group of us with 2 carriers en route mining trit as we go. 1 carrier is a empty mule. The other a fully equipped space station.
We're heading to a location near colonia where I found a triple benetoite. Gonner fill our boots whilst edo drops and the bug fest won't be our concern...ohhh are they resetting hotspots again!@@

When the darkness calls, we all must listen. ;)

Safe travels!

I can't stay in the bubble for more than a few weeks at a time.
I had to, in order to get my engineering done, but now that it's over, well, there is literally nothing that keeps me in.

The first leg of the trip is done. I arrived yesterday at the center of Eta Carina Nebula.

I still have to reach the neutron star that was my original goal, but somehow my navigational computer refuses to plot a route to that star. Probably my filter is too strict, but I'll get around it. The neutron star itself is more than 1k ly under the galactic plane.

This is the view from the center of the nebula, something that will never stop to amaze me.

Just passing by to say hello. I'm still alive even if I neglected to update my diary on Inara.

The green line going "north-east" is my actual travel path from Shinrarta.
So far so good, no incidents (yet!). I even managed to reach a DSSA Fleet Carrier to polish some scratch from the hull, selling another bunch of millions' worth of exploration data in the meanwhile, reaching my first billion (yay!)

And got myself almost cooked (again!) when jumping between two stars. But nothing unusual, really.
I'm travelling again way below the galactic plane after having come up to get to the carrier.

Next leg of the journey is about 11K Ly far from where I am right now. I should be there in a few days.

I though i could post where I am right now.

I've encountered the first logistic problem of this travel: there are too few stars under the galactic plane to plot a long route. I had to plan a "come back" to upper levels of the plane in order to take the next galactic arm and continue my journey to the next nebula.

Have a nice pic of my Phantom showing off her beauty

Yeah, I'm doing some loops round the whole galaxy staying as high/low as I can at the minute and some of the interarm gaps get down to barely 1kly thick.
