Okay so this probably isnt as the title would imply, primerily i wish to remove the current "balancing" attempt on the jetpack and propose another.

Currently the jetpack seems to have a OnGround check and as soon as you are airborne it starts atking away at a layer of your jetpack wether you are using it or not and it just feels clunky. It is my understanding that this was dont to prevent players from flying arround in combat and just initiating death from above, so i propose an alternative.

Instead of the artificial reduction in jetpack fuel while we are airborne, how about while our shields are active the jetpack either stops recharging entierly or recharges and a drastically reduced rate.

This will force the player to make a tactical desision in combat, in this moment do i need more defence or more mobility. These are the kind of decisions you want your players to think about while playing something like elite, it is very similar to flight assist on/off as well ans silent running having both a pro and a con.

Another bonus is that it wont have any adverse effects on the non combat gameplay in odyssey and will remove the clunkyness of the current implementation.
