When I first joined Nova Navy, I knew nothing about this game and was just a hopeful Commander looking for a way in the universe. Nova Navy not only gave me that purpose, they also gave me a home. They are one of the best organizations I have had the pleasure of working with. Now, I am an Admiral in the navy, and help coordinate the efforts to expand Nova Imperium. they truly are a great family, and I recommend to anyone reading this to join. We offer freedom the freedom to do whatever you truly want, with us as a home to support you. That is one of the many things I have noticed about Nova Imperium is its willingness to support everyone, and I truly enjoy that. I thank everyone who I have had the pleasure of working with here.

The lmperator presents: The Marinus Program

As I sat behind my desk, Praetor Leo Magnus, our Chief of Security, entered my office. "His exalted majesty is requesting your presence at once at the main hall, Governor Alvarado.".

Following Mr. Magnus to the main hall, I saw the Imperator standing at a podium, protected by his ever vigilant Praetorian Guard. As my eyes glanced the hall, I saw that the front row was filled with the members of the Imperator's Naval High Command, and that behind them were seated all the other members of the Navy. But... wait a moment... I could not find Praetor Kan'Vur amongst the seated members of Naval High Command. I decided to take my seat on the front row as well, given my prominent position as the Governor of Paresa.

The Imperator then delivered a powerful speech to everyone present:

Greetings my ever stalwart defenders of the Imperium. You are my vanguard, you are my tip of the spear, and last but not least, you are the peacekeepers of my Imperium, nay... OUR Imperium! AVÉ!

The crowd chanted: "AVÉ!, AVÉ!", before the Imperator continued:

Yet, our operations in deep space and in orbit have proven not always that fruitful. Take the former terrorist, Miles Ruber. He managed to operate on the ground and thus managed to de-stabilize the Dongones system for a good while, until the efforts of Captain Gerad and the rest of the Navy managed to secure the system and apprehend the terrorist.

In light of this, I have decided to announce to you all the latest addition to the Navy: The Marinus; Our very own Marine Corps! The Marinus shall be our boots on the ground, conducting operations not possible with our warships. This in turn shall have a greater impact on the presence we can have within our territory. Now, citizens will not only be able to see the Navy's warships in the skies, but, they will also be able to see our naval troops on the ground, right beside them, protecting them from any and all dangers that there are to the Imperium.

After careful consideration, I have decided to name Praetor Kan'Vur as the Strategi Maximus of the Marinus. Praetor, the stage is yours!

Members of the Navy: The Marinus stands as a defense to ensure the safety of our glorious leader. We fight where the Navy's warships cannot, to keep peace and prosperity for our Imperium. We are forever training and gaining strength, so our opponents can never get the best of us.

I joined the Nova Navy because I was new to the game and I was looking for a team to play the game with. My friend Kevin_est sent me an invite to the Nova Navy, which I accepted as it is a very friendly Community.

They are fun to talk with, and important they are ready to help new players. They also roleplay with the Nova Imperium lore written by Frontier Developments, so that's really cool too!.

I'd truly recommend the Nova Navy for anyone interested in an Imperial squadron with a lore-bound actual purpose and that has a friendly community surrounding it!

Recently, the Imperator has wed Commander Astrid Minerva, now to be known as Lady Minerva-Duval. The Admiralty Board of the Nova Navy was pleasantly surprised by this news in these trying times. Praetor Lilliana Lindholm, Praetor Yumasai, Praetor Kan'Vur, Nauarch Julius Crimson and Nauarch Oculus have released a collective document containing the individual congratulations to the Imperator as follows:

The Serrod Colonization Campaign

Earlier today, several colony ships have departed from Ogoni, bound for the Serrod system. The Imperator had earlier declared Serrod as a system of interest for the Imperium's people, and so a colonization campaign has been set up, promising any and all settlers a job guarantee, a clean criminal record (if applicable) as well as good quality housing. Today, the final preparations have been completed, and Governor Lilliana Lindholm of Ogoni authorized the hyperspace jumps into the system.

Serrod is certainly an interesting system; It boasts a proper extraction and refinery industry, currently capable of supporting over 177.000 people. But perhaps more importantly, Serrod is home to the Serrod Drive Yards, a shipbuilding company manufacturing and maintaining capital ships, including the well known Majestic-class Interdictor, also known as the Imperial Battlecruiser.

Our respected colleagues of the Wuthielo Ku Company, a shareholder within the SDY, have recently informed the Imperator that a dictator, known as Daegon the Unifier, had invaded the system from No Cha, and has brought the SDY under the authority of his United No Cha Justice Party.

I suspect that the Imperator is thus out to bring order and justice to the system, but I can't say for certain, as the advertisements only spoke of a "glorious system that needs us". When I approached Governor Lilliana Lindholm earlier to comment on the situation, her assistant told me that she was unavailable to comment on the affair.

Right then, thats all from me. I guess we must see how Daegon shall treat the arrival of the Imperium.

The false rumor against the Imperator

CJ Pryde, CEO of Paresa News Network, entered my office today with a particular GalNet article. It seems that Landgrave Delacroix has grown quite delusional with even thinking that the Imperator is behind the Neo-Marlinist Liberation Army.

Our leader stands vanguard for the values of the old Empire, not decrepit values espoused by those who call themselves "Marlinists".

Furthermore, he dares paint the Imperator's wife to be a top agent of the NMLA? I am beginning to wonder if Mr. Delacroix is having mental issues.

As stated by the GalNet article: "As yet this information has not been verified, and its source remains anonymous. There has been no comment from either ACT or Nova Imperium."

As such, we see this as a false rumor; Fake news if you will, intended to paint the Imperium in a bad light. I am certain that the Landgrave is trying to cover up the real leader(s) of the NMLA, and that this is but one example of his deception.

Elections in Serrod

Today, the Imperium, whilst under pressure from growing media attention following serious allegations, has managed to publicly challenge Daegon the Unifier, the Dictator of Serrod. The dictator refused an election at first, but, after repressive methods proved ineffective, he had no other option but to call out general elections for the entire system. As a result, the masses are being polled at almost every corner of the streets, and the setting seems to be clear: Continue under the Dictator's rule, or, go for the alternative: A system of order and justice imposed by the Imperator; Hadrian Augustus Duval.

Marcus Cornelius, the local spokesperson of the Wuthielo Ku Company, has expressed his support for the Imperium. Critics state that the Wuthielo Ku Company is only doing this for business interests as to regain their stock of the Serrod Drive Yards, but these allegations have quickly been branded as "Corporate Defamation" by followers of the company.

Additionally, warships belonging to the Imperator's Navy have been spotted in the system. Governor Lilliana Lindholm of Ogoni was not available to give a statement regarding these observations, yet representatives of the Governor have insisted for nobody to worry, as the warships are only there to provide precautional escort in the case the Dictator tries something malicious.

The Imperium secures the Serrod Drive Yards

Ladies and gentlemen. With much pride and confidence in our glorious Imperator in the recent tense times, I am able to inform you that we have managed to win the general elections in the Serrod system.

Daegon the Unifier, former ruler of the Serrod system, has reportedly fled to his headquarters in the No Cha system. The remaining personnel of the United No Cha Justice Party quickly accepted the new status quo and swore to respect the new ruler of the Serrod system.

Our military forces have quickly restored order and justice in accordance with the Imperator's policies. Important assets have been seized, including the Serrod Drive Yards. Local spokesperson of the Wuthielo Ku Company, Marcus Cornelius, was pleased to hear that the company would be returned their share in the SDY's stock. Whilst the Wuthielo Ku Company retains their share, full legality of the SDY now falls to the Imperium.

This has been a strategic acquisition, since now, the Imperator has a site where his Majestic-class battlecruisers can be build and maintained. Combined with the financial backing of the Wuthielo Ku Company, the SDY have in fact already begun construction of new battlecruisers, which can be viewed when one enters the system and approaches the shipyard.

I have tried to get a statement from Governor Lilliana Lindholm since she oversaw the Imperium's efforts in Serrod, but unfortunately, she has been unavailable to give a statement.

The Federation attacks

Today I bring grave news, fellow members of the Nova Navy. Just now, I have received a report from our security chief, Praetor Leo Magnus. The Federation, under the banner of the League of Mandu, have begun their attack on the Paresa system. Dyson City, our capital starport, has been attacked. Other places have been struck as well: The Baroness Exchange, The Cooperative Energy Bureau and the Universal Communication Communications.

This stands testimony to the way how the Fednecks operate: No logic, no reasoning. ACT has yet to come with any conclusions, but the Federation has decided to pull the trigger anyhow.

Victory in Paresa; Federation in retreat!

Fellow members of the Nova Navy,

Today I wish to inform you that the Federation-backed organization, The League of Mandu, has been defeated across the entirety of our home. The Federal Diplomatic Corps, through Ambassador Catherine Carlisle, has stated that the Federation is grateful for the League to have been combatting the NMLA, but that the League has acted hastily and shall soon depart Imperial territory.

It is rather ironic how the Federation still thus views Nova Imperium as apart of the NMLA, but let us not forget that, after all, the Federation has invaded us on that belief without even having evidence to back their claims up. Now they head home broken, tail between their legs. But their humiliation is even bigger beyond the fact that the "black sheep" of the Empire defeated a Federal armada, as countless wreckages float inside Paresa; Imperial, Federal and Independent alike. Let us not forget the countless lives that have been lost for an attack that has had no legal backing and were done hastily, quoting the Federal Ambassador's own words.

On another note, our dear Imperator, Hadrian Augustus Duval, has delivered a public address provided to you by the Paresa News Network:

“Our hard-earned victory brings great honour to all who fought against the Federation’s invasion. Award ceremony at Dyson City

Today was an important day: Following the Federal attack on our headquarters in their futile attempt to seize our supreme leader, the Imperator. I have been asked by the Imperator to make preparations for a grand award ceremony. My preparations had been ready, and today is the big day.

Walking on a red carpet in the middle of the largest hangar bay, there is a large podium at the end. The Imperator, with behind him the Admiralty Board, has clear view on the entirety of the Nova Navy and the thousands of civilians that have been invited to spectate; A great honor for any Paresan citizen or friend of the Imperium alike.

The Imperator then soon began the ceremony, beginning with calling forth Commanders Ponyta, Wendell09 and Victor Dangerstar. As they took their stand on the podium with the spotlights trained on the three Commanders, the Imperator spoke:

"You three have been amongst the 10 Commanders that have given everything for my safety, for my future. As such, I have no choice but to grant you the highest decoration available in accordance to military service for the defense of Paresa: The Most Honorable Defender of Paresa".

"Once again, I thank you three. You truly have given it your all. Take this as the least I can do."

Afterwards, the Imperator clapped in his hands, and soon the entire hangar was filled with the sound of applause. Then, the Imperator called forth a whole set of Commanders to the stage: mMONTAGEe, Yumasai, Rainbro, Light-Hawk, Ziegfried, Taluc, Aaron Zhong, Nohla, Gerardagh, Pheonyxe, Lelouch557, TheRagingBaron, Heilrider, Swiggity SwootyBooty and Nbdy. To all of these Commanders, the Imperator spoke the following words:

"To all of you I can only say one thing: Thank you. You all have displayed a valiant service to the protection of Paresa against the Federal warmongers. As such, I hereby award each and every one of you the second highest award available within the Navy with regards to Paresa's defense: The Shield of the Imperium".

"Once again, I thank you all. Each and every one of you have done your best to protect the Imperium; Our Imperium. I am certain that the late Kaeso Mordanticus would be proud. Let us toast in his name, Avé!"

Festivities ensued, running into the late hours. I am certain that the Imperator, the Admiralty Board and the Navy a whole had a blast!

Antonius Felix appointed as Governor of Takshana

The Imperium has recently won the general elections held in the Takshana system. This system, boasting a population of 27.270, features a high-tech extraction industry, and specializes in the advancement of modernizing the way how resources are gathered. The state of the art technology shall make a fine collection to our Imperator's dominion, as the local equipment can be shipped to our other extraction facilities across our territories.

In an effort to ensure the safety, stability and prosperity of the population following the Imperium's victory, the Imperator has appointed Antonius Felix (Commander Pheonyxe) to the position of Legatus (Governor).

Antonius Felix has been approached by a local reporter of the PNN, to whom the fresh Governor stated:

"I am honored to have been entrusted by our great Imperator with the safety and welfare of our new citizens. So shall we continue the reclamation of our glory. Let this serve as an example to all who dare to oppress us. The 2nd Battle of Paresa is the last time Nova Imperium shall be on the defensive. All who oppose us shall perish or serve. Memento Mordanticus!"

Terrorists attack Dongones

Dongones is currently the target of a string of attacks by a terrorist organization. After being informed of the situation yesterday evening, I've arrived in system at Al-Kashi Terminal. Both Al-Kashi and August von Steinheil Hub, as well as multiple ground settlements have suffered civilian casualties. Death counts are still rising as people sift through the rubble of several explosions.

These cowards have no doubt chosen now to attack one of the Imperium's key military and industrial systems while we have our eye turned inwards toward Paresa, providing relief and aid, following the Second Battle of Paresa.

As reports of explosions are still coming in, I've taken action by ordering the First Fleet to hunt down the perpetrators of these disgraceful attacks. The Nova Navy Auxilia has been asked to provide deliveries of weapons to all installations, orbital or ground, to aid in the defense of the system.

Any information we gain on the terrorist organization in the coming days will be forwarded to Praetor Leo Magnus, our Head of Security, to see if there are any connections to the NMLA that ACT should be made aware of. That shall be all for now.
