Joining faction in cz?

In the previous game versions there was a tab on the right to join a faction in a cz. I just can’t find it now! Where is it?

if you fly into a CZ, after the ships are spawned, you can choose which side you want, in the comm thingy

Saw the two factions in the upper left and, as I started to fiddle (unsuccessfully) I CTD’ed.
At the risk of sounding salty was the beta like this? Screen freezes and CTD’s?

I didn't have any freezes or CTDs, neither in the beta nor in live.

I never did either till 3.3
Well I’m not the only one. A fix will occur sometime I suppose.

Dreadfully sorry. My fault. Trying to set up two hotas (one Xbox and one pc) whilst still bewildered by the new radar whatnot. Couldn’t resist trying to get an x52pro and Xbox hotas to have similar set ups. So that my decaying mind wouldn’t be further annoyed by it all. Nearly there now. Two weeks in Thailand to come, I need it. Did buy a laptop to take...not bothering to take it I think some John Le Carre, sun, Thai food and delightful people will be the job. Have a peaceful Christmas and new year Commanders. Thanks again.
