Jumping issues/oddities?

Something my friend has been sharing after his play,
  • the ASC otters seem to be jumping quite too often despite its proportion.
  • the snow leopards jumping over 4m without any run-ups seems too odd even if they can jump 15m max IRL.
  • flamingoes gently flapping upon entering the feeder (I haven't seen this in my case :p)
Additionally, the animals in general seem to choose to jump over rather than going down a beautifully smooth slope that was meant for them to use.
Anyone who had similar experiences, please share 🙏.

This happens when an animal struggles to pathfind its way properly, all animals ingame will resort to jumping if they can. I've had it with all big cats, otters, birds and some others. Use of lots of rocks, hard area enrichment items and foliage, steep terrain and deep water areas will force the animal to jump instead of walk. Animals do have a limit to the angle of the slope, what may seem a gentle slope to one person doesn't mean the animal ingame thinks it is.

Yeah, even if it says it's transversable. Sigh, sometimes I think the pathfinding AI needs an update. 😥
