Jurassic World Evolution: Update 6 Highlight

I am so excited for infinite feeders to come back and for all the brushes to be available everywhere!

But, can someone explain to me, what is meant by Sandbox Square levels? I have no idea, even with the explanation provided 😅

Six of the existing maps (one from each biome, San Diego is confirmed to be the one from the Desert Biome), will have a new version (for free!) added that's just a big square layout instead of the current unique in-game layout shapes. The new San Diego map will also have the Amphitheatre removed.

Oh wow! Thank you so much for clarifying this! That's truly a game-changer then!

Hey Park Managers!

Our console community will also be excited to hear that you can now import your PS4 player progress to the PS5 version of the game, meaning all your progress will be merged and nothing will be overwritten when being transferred over onto the PS5. The best way to do this would be to upload your PS4 save onto the PS Plus cloud and then download the saves from the cloud onto the PS5 and launch the game. Once in the main menu you should get a prompt to import the saves.

Yes, yes finally I can see what other players enjoy.

It's meant to be shorthand: "combat involving sauropods"

Thank you so much Skawt! The amphitheatre is not present in the square version of the San Diego map. It'll be a large flat desert.

It will be one dome, but era specific buildings your guests use to enter them. Viewing Domes and Logs can be placed inside Aviaries :)

The team is looking into it - I don't believe a fix is coming in this update, however.
If no new sauropod attack / defense animations are being added, is it possible to increase sauropod attack and defense stats (if they're not already improved with this update) in the future to make them more resistant to predation? Sauropod hunting behaviour could also be turned off for small carnivores. Those look especially silly killing the largest animals to ever walk the Earth, which could easily crush them into oblivion with one step.

6 new square levels will be available for you in Sandbox mode that are all based on the 6 different biome types in the game. Southwest USA, San Diego and California levels will also be getting 3 expanded square levels.
Head explodes

Lastly, the decoration Foliage setting will allow you to use foliage from all biomes or the level's specific biome as you choose
Already-exploded head continues to further explode...

Starting to get this sinking feeling that "Wild Captures" are going to be used instead of a "randomized digsite" toggle. If this is the direction your leaning towards, please do note it is not a proper substitute. The Wild Captures don't offer the flexibility or variety for a fresh playthrough that could be achieved by randomly assigning the starting digsites, plus if they are anything like the Campaign, etc. then you are going to get a lot of duplicates captures with no control over how many animals you receive. Please forward this concern to the dev team, this is a very highly requested feature that adds a lot for us management players.

Im a little confused about this phrase after reading it again:
"To further facilitate these changes, hunting behaviours of carnivores have also seen some changes. They will now attack less frequently and may even fail a hunt depending on their individual combat stats and the defense level of the Sauropod."

Carnivores will attack less frenquently and fail a hunt depending on their individual combat stats and the defense level only for sauropods or other creatures in general?

I guess paths won't ever be addressed.

We are using the exact same paths from 2018. I am tired of pink and grey, and I can't do anything creative with them. I have been asking for a color wheel for fancy paths or just a few more path varieties, but that hasn't materialized.

I don't enjoy designing parks anymore because of how constraining the visual path options are. I'll be back to the game when the paths are improved.

way to be melodramatic.

Hey Bob! The full patch notes will be shared on the 30th of March. I think this is still under investigation, however.

Very sad, I will still have to limit my parks to 120 dinosaurs, or get used to the totally buggy social interaction, what always caught my attention in this game were these animations, it makes everything more alive, now with this problem it seems that they are nothing more than robots.
