Powerplay Just curious, but who else here hates the Alliance and Mahon? :D

Your professed reasons for hating the alliance are mysterious to me.

First place? In powerplay.... I have not really paid attention to that lately.
If I sign up again it will most likely be Imperial anyway. But I was always friendly or allied with all major factions.

Subjugated worlds? Federal worlds can fall in the influence sphere of Alliance control systems, but the same happens with alliance worlds in for example fed space and imp space I suppose. These worlds still are part of their main faction. I don't think these worlds should be considered subjugated. I think it is more about political influence.

I never was a PP fanatic although I managed to be rank 5 with my Imperial power for two or three weeks or so.
I then just couldn't do it anymore. The merit decay system felt insulting and broke my spirit.
I resigned.
I will be back after PP gets an overhaul. I think PP brings a lot of cool stuff to the table, and the potential to become more and better integrated is clearly present. It just needs a bit of work.

Yes, first place. This is what I mean about analyticals and accountants. Mahon is in first place all the time, ATTACK! We'd be the same way if any other power was in first place all the time. Why? Because it's a game and who better to assault than the power in the top spot! What, beat down a struggling power? Sorry, but that's not our style and we reserve that for the bullies in the game. Frontier simply doesn't provide enough UNIVERSAL conflict for the "world" to be dynamic in our opinion. So we work to provide that dynamic aspect and enjoy the game.

As much as players don't like to say it, Elite Dangerous kinda needs the Slum Dog Crew. They add an element that brings excitement and tension. We currently don't operate on that scale or level to the detriment of other players but we do bring an element of enjoyment to us and purpose to others for continued enjoyment of the game.

Given all this, (Mahon in first place all the time with over twice the number of controlled Federal systems as they have in Alliance systems, and Frontier's lack of imagination in bringing tension and conflict to the independents) we find good reason to actively work against Mahon. Oh, and almost forgot to mention that we know of some seriously manipulative stuff the Mahon power has done and REALLY don't like it.

If you are reading this and agree, then join us.

Kumo Crew you mean?

Lol. Although it is often necessary for us to engage in positive relations with the Delaine power, we are not criminals or perhaps, only criminals to Mahon. We view ourselves and conduct ourselves as freedom fighters and revolutionists.

The Kumo Crew is definitely needed as well. Thankfully, they have been a good "mover-and-shaker" these past cycles. :)

Oooh - do tell.

Nope. Actually, considering how large Mahon is and all the support given, there is a chance that you haven't a clue, but we are having more fun with it all coming to light rather than just tattle-telling. We do have a running Palladium pool going on, on how long it's going to take those being manipulated to even realize it. Whether stupidity, ignorance, or lack of intuition, we find it interesting to see how things pan out.

No, Utopia came across some pre-flipping ages ago and that caused some issues, but as for anything else I'm sure Mahon is behaving.

And I'm sure you are mistaken. Plausible deniability is a good tool related to clandestine operations. Whether you or Martin know of these activities or not, it is and is going to be interesting.

A nice element to a somewhat stale game. :)

And that's a page right out of the Donald Trump playbook. Pretend that you have really important and ground breaking information that everyone needs to have, and that you'll get it to them "real soon" and then never deliver.

Now, I could of course make similar claims about you, and your group, and that I have proof that you and your friends all a bunch of combat loggers, bug exploiters, stream snipers and doxxers, and that I'm having more fun with it all slowly coming to light than being a tattle-tale, but unlike you, I don't trade in innuendo, and I don't need to boost my self-esteem and my following by making vague claims.

I do believe the phrase that is most apt here is "put up or shut up".

Until you do that, you are about as reliable as a 1959 Chevrolet Bel Air in a frontal collision and about as trustworthy as Kim Jung Ill's golf score.

The more you talk the more I'm convinced you are roleplaying as someone in touch with what is actually happening in Powerplay.

Roleplaying as a a character in the game yes. Having knowledge of what players are doing and have done to manipulate the other powers is a fact and just extra.

Whatever makes a brigard sleep tight at night. Not the first one to make accusations without proof, not the last.

It would probably be something that was proven wrong like the reasons given for the Feds to attack us, which were later just admitted to boil down to "we needed Mahon's good systems to have a better standing fighting the Imps." anyway.

And I could say you know all about the shadowy stuff your people have done and all the talk from you and your subordinates is nothing but your best attempts to discredit me. We could run around the table with this all day.

Just play the game and I hope I win the pool. :)

Recruitment is up by 3.

It's a game. Play it and don't forget to have a life. I assure you, I don't lose sleep over Elite Dangerous and have no reason to.
