Also don't we have enough theropods already? I honestly don't know which theropods could actually be added to the game without sacrificing more interesting animals. When it comes to new animals, I really hope we get some strange Permian and Triassic animals such as Tanystropheus, Cotylorhynchus, and Erythrosuchus. They would be far better inclusions than the million theropods people keep requesting, which really don't add anything interesting to the game.
Yeah, we already have plenty of carnivorous theropods (we need more herbivorous and omnivorous theropods though), and both sauropods and hadrosaurs are the ones who need more love. Here's my ideal list of sauropodomorphs and ornithopods that should be added to the game (I know that not all of these will be added, but at least half of them would, hopefully including Magyarosaurus). When it comes to new animals, I really hope we get some strange Permian and Triassic animals such as Tanystropheus, Cotylorhynchus, and Erythrosuchus. Sauropodomorphs: Magyarosaurus, Isisaurus, tosaurus, Ampelosaurus, Nemegtosaurus/Opisthocoelicaudia, Saltasaurus, Paralititan, Patagotitan, Puertasaurus, Argentinosaurus, Titanosaurus (obviously since its appearance in the new Rebirth film), Euhelopus, Australotitan, Lusotitan, Giraffatitan, Sauroposeidon, Jobaria, Limaysaurus, Rebbachisaurus, Amphicoelias/Maraapunisaurus (possibly the largest dinosaur in the game alongside Argentinosaurus), Dicraeosaurus, Brachytrachelopan, Bajadasaurus, Brontosaurus, Supersaurus, Omeisaurus, Shunosaurus, Cetiosaurus, Isanosaurus, Antetonitrus, Melanorosaurus, Mussaurus/Anchisaurus, Glacialisaurus/Massospondylus, and Plateosaurus.
Ornithopods: Heterodontosaurus (I know it's not an ornithopod but it's similar), Thescelosaurus (I know this is not an ornithopod but it is similar), Hypsilophodon, Leaellynasaura, Tenontosaurus, Rhabdodon/Zalmoxes, Camptosaurus, Lurdusaurus, Altirhinus, Tethyshadros/Telmatosaurus, Ajnabia, Hypacrosaurus (please make it a facultative biped and more accurate than Corythosaurus so it would be easily distinguished from Corythosaurus), Lambeosaurus (please make it a facultative biped and accurate), Charonosaurus (please make it a facultative biped and more accurate than Parasaurolophus so it would be easily distinguished from Parasaurolophus), Barsboldia, Secernosaurus, Brachylophosaurus, Shantungosaurus, Gryposaurus, Kritosaurus, Prosaurolophus, and Saurolophus.
There are plenty, actually... some really unique choices too...Also don't we have enough theropods already? I honestly don't know which theropods could actually be added to the game without sacrificing more interesting animals.
Your lists are... excessive... and full of very redundant suggestions...Yeah, we already have plenty of carnivorous theropods (we need more herbivorous and omnivorous theropods though), and both sauropods and hadrosaurs are the ones who need more love. I never said all of these would be added, I said at least some of these would be added.Your lists are... excessive... and full of very redundant suggestions...
I get that... but it's still excessive and full of redundant suggestions...I never said all of these would be added, I said at least some of these would be added.
Ngl with you mentioning Icthyovenator (an interesting spinosaur ive never heard of), it makes me confused as to why people want Irritator. Irritator would be too similar to Baryonyx and Suchomimus. Also this looks like a good list! There are plenty, actually... some really unique choices too...
- Yangchuanosaurus (Allosauroid; the "Allosaurus" of China)
- Beipiaosaurus (Therizinosaur; primitive and very well known)
- Anzu (Oviraptorosaur; probably the best known oviraptor of North America)
- Austroraptor (Dromaeosaur; a unique piscivore)
- Masiakasaurus (Noasaur; has a unique dentition of unknown function)
- Elaphrosaurus (Noasaur; looks like an ornithomimosaur, yet lived alongside Kentrosaurus)
- Berthasaura (Noasaur; a small herbivore with a bird-like beak)
- Ichthyovenator (Spinosaur; has a unique sail shape)
- Spectrovenator (Abelisaur; small and primitive)
- Pelecanimimus (Ornithomimosaur; unique facial features and teeth)
- Eoraptor (Herrerasaurid?; one of the earliest dinosaurs, possibly a primitive sauropod)
- Mononykus (Alvarezsaur; a small insectivore with hands composed of a single, giant clawed finger... worth mentioning there are no alvarezsaurs in the game yet)
- Yi (Scanscoriopterygid; a small dinosaur with bat-like wings for arms... might make the most sense in the aviary)
Your lists are... excessive... and full of very redundant suggestions...
I can't read any of that. I mean even when I made my long list of possible choices (although it was excessive in quantity simply because I had a lot of potential creature choices), I at least tried to put them in a list-like format.I never said all of these would be added, I said at least some of these would be added.
I know right? Literally all we know about Irritator is a partial skull... at least with Ichthyovenator we have a good idea of what the body looks like.Ngl with you mentioning Icthyovenator (an interesting spinosaur ive never heard of), it makes me confused as to why people want Irritator. Irritator would be too similar to Baryonyx and Suchomimus. Also this looks like a good list!
I like most of this list, but...Okay, here is my list of therepods I want for JWE3 (most of these will be piscivores omnivores, and herbivores, since carnivorous ones are quite overused by now):
- Austroraptor (if we do get a raptor that is paleo-accurate like the in-game Utahraptor but with vibrant color variations like the Dominion film's Pyroraptor, this would be a nice animal in the game, plus it was a piscivore in real life so that's something)
- Microraptor, Archaeopteryx, and/or Yi (three of these would fulfill the role of actual dinosaurs in aviaries (assuming that the bug to release any dinosaur species in aviaries is sadly fixed), possibly able to coexist with pterosaurs in the game)
- Nothronychus and/or Segnosaurus (as mid-tier therizinosaurs, possibly more accurate than Dominion's Therizinosaurus already in JWE2, these two (or at least one of them) would be nice additions to the game as paleo-accurate counterparts to the in-game Therizinosaurus)
- Beipiaosaurus (as a primitive and well-known therizinosaur, this would make a great addition to the game's roster)
- Ornithomimus (if this is paleo-accurate and with feathers, this should make this dinosaur stand out among ornithomimids)
- Pelecanimimus (as a basal ornithomimosaur with teeth, this would be a great addition to the piscivore roster)
- Anzu and/or Corythoraptor (either one of these would be amazing additions, since they would represent mid-tier oviraptorids, compared with the game's paleo-accurate Gigantoraptor and the Dominion film's Oviraptor)
- Mononykus (as an alvarezsaurid, Mononykus would be perfect for the game, since we currently don't have any insectivorous theropods with single-clawed forelimbs)
- Daspletosaurus, Gorgosaurus, and/or Nanuqsaurus (the only truly large carnivores in this list of mine, these would make great additions as vibrant and paleo-accurate counterparts to the in-game Albertosaurus, Tarbosaurus, and Tyrannosaurus)
- Guanlong (if this is paleo-accurate, this would help it stand out from Proceratosaurus in design and behavior)
- Elaphrosaurus and/or Masiakasaurus (as noasaurs, which we currently don't have in the game, either one of these would be cool to have in the game)
- Ichthyovenator and/or Irritator (the largest piscivore ideas on my list, these two spinosaurs would be great if they're paleo-accurate and distinct enough from the in-game Suchomimus and the inaccurate film design's Baryonyx. Yes, I know Irritator is quite fragmentary, but to make up for that, maybe Frontier would make Irritator paleo-accurate and have a unique pelican-like throat pouch that has been suggested for IRL spinosaurs in general, to help it stand out from Spinosaurus, Suchomimus, Baryonyx, and Ichthyovenator)

I'm sorry, what? Land Before Time messed up Beipiaosaurus, so that means it's unlikely to be added to JWE3? That's what it sounds like you're saying and it doesn't make sense...The way Land Before Time franchise depict Beipiaosaurus is too goofy, it is doubtful whether this species be added to Jurassic World: Evolution 3 or not.
I honestly think that people want Ornithomimus simply because they want a feathered variant and also because it is the "quintessential and memorable" ornithomimosaur, but on the other hand, Struthiomimus already fits that bill. Pelecanmimus does have more of a unique factor to it.I like most of this list, but...
2. Segnosaurus wouldn't add much beyond what Therizinosaurus adds... also large, also from Asia... Nothronychus is at list mid-sized and from North America...
5. Why are people obsessed with Ornithomimus? A paleo accurate alternative to Struthiomimus? Why not just ask for a feathered variant of Struthiomimus? The two animals are virtually identical; a feathered version of Struthiomimus is literally the same thing, but with less work!
7. Corythoraptor joins Segnosaurus in the "too similar to what we already have" case... in particular, it would be our third Asian oviraptor, compared to zero oviraptors from the rest of the world...
9. More North American tyrannosaurs would kinda suck at this point... the whole group is pretty over-represented as is, and adding more wouldn't add anything new.
12. How do you make a pale-accurate version of Irritator; an animal known from almost nothing? Especially when it's a spinosaur, a group known for their fairly diverse appearances. Also, they could do that for other spinosaurs like Ichthyovenator...
