JWE3 Species and Ideas wishlist

Even if the Tarbosaurus, T-Rex, Spinosaurus, and Giganotosaurus like scavengers; it is best not to put the scavengers with these territorial large carnivores. Scavengers panic when a large carnivore is within their vicinity. Therefore, scavengers have to be kept separate from large carnivores. Besides not meeting their needs, another source of stress come from panic when fleeing from larger predators. Other than the "prey dinosaurs", it is best that the four territorial large carnivores have no like relationship as they would rather have their territory for themselves and not sharing the territory with other species especially scavengers.
Um... did you quote the wrong post?

We would all like to make every enclosure as unique as possible. Signage is a way to do it. An idea could be creating signs using the picture profiles from the species database. You could have a template for signs, and have them be in small, medium, and large. The profile picture of the animal could be added and it's name would appear just like in the database. It could be like a copy and paste function. And it would cover every species in the database. You could even add the Paleobotany section of the database and the dig sites.

Of the species listed to create the Indominus, it would be nice to add Rugops to the game.

I know a lot of people have requested Rugops get added to the game, but Wikipedia has indicated that Rugops is only known from a partial skull. (Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rugops) However, I definitely agree that it would be nice to have some of the smaller Abelisaurid species added to the game, which some of the species I would recommend include Spectrovenator, Eoabelisaurus, Skorpiovenator, Ekrixinatosaurus, or Aucasaurus.
If JWE3 wants to go the next level, it should expand with the types of maps that exist in the game. Use every biome that exists to be represented in the game.

And yes, have an island that is surrounded by a natural lagoon.
View attachment 419306
I think the closest you're going to get to getting access to marine ecosystem is getting put on an island, which we have plenty of ranging in location from Isla Nublar and Isla Sorna to Malta and a new island located off the coast of Barbados, mentioned in the trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth. That will also cover the rain forest biome. Jurassic World Dominion mainly shows locations in the US and in the Alps in Italy, which also briefly shows a location on the African savannah. Aside from the main movies, Jurassic World Chaos Theory season 2 takes place in Senegal. While they don't say specifically in what part of Senegal they are in, I believe they maybe in the Guinean forest–savanna mosaic, West Sudanian savanna, or the Guinean mangroves based upon the fact they were repeatedly shown traveling by boat. (Source:

)
Additionally, Jurassic World Chaos theory season 2 also shows Brooklyn operating in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Now the funny thing is the developers have an option here, as they could just use the area directly around the city of Dubai, but they could also use the one of the areas located within the emirate of Dubai, which the city of Dubai is located in. (Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jurassic_World:_Chaos_Theory#Season_2_(2024) Some of the major bioregions found there include the Al Hajar montane woodlands and the Gulf of Oman desert and semi-desert. Another location in Africa that could work is Kenya as it has been mentioned in the first Jurassic Park movie and has some ties to the lore of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World series. Some locations there that I would recommend possibly using include Northern Zanzibar–Inhambane coastal forest mosaic, East African montane forests, Northern Acacia–Commiphora bushlands and thickets, Southern Acacia–Commiphora bushlands and thickets, or East African mangroves. I discussed my other suggestions about this in another thread, which I'll post the link for here: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/the-kenya-site-expansion-dlc.624813/#post-10360842.

Do you have specific locations in mind that you would like to see added to the game?

Here are the top ten dinosaur species wishlist I want for the base game:

1. Magyarosaurus
magyarosaurus_dacus_by_teratophoneus_dfhbdb1-pre.jpg

I know I have requested for this many times before, but we need dwarf sauropods in the game, to add more size varieties to the sauropods in the game. This is my favorite species not currently in the game.

2. Plateosaurus
317_plateosaurus_mohamad_haghani.jpg

This is a far more popular suggestion, since it is a prosauropod, and we currently don't have any prosauropods in the game. I would personally like it being bipedal based on more accurate reconstructions.

3. Nothronychus and/or Segnosaurus
latest
latest

More species of therizinosaurs are a must for this game, especially if they are more accurate than the in-game Therizinosaurus. I wasn't sure if either Nothronychus or Segnosaurus should be added, so I added them both to the same entry.

4. Ornithomimus and/or Pelecanimimus
Ornithomimus2.jpg
071__pelecanimimus_polydon_by_green_mamba-d5ev78i_71e1.jpg

Yes, I know some people consider this as redundant, but if Struthiomimus, Gallimimus, or Archaeornithomimus do not get accurate feathered variants, I think that either Ornithomimus or Pelecanimimus, or even both, should be added to the game. Plus, Pelecanimimus would be piscivorous.

5. Irritator and/or Ichthyovenator
qrzss70y07t81.jpg
F-Ichthyovenator_laosensis_life_reconstruction_by_PaleoGeek.jpg

I wasn't sure which one of these should be added, so I added both in case both would be added. I think these two spinosaurs have potential to be unique from other spinosaurs (including each other) in the game, with the Irritator having an expandable jaw with a pelican-like throat pouch and the Ichthyovenator having a unique sail shape with a dent in it.

6. Austroraptor and/or Dromaeosaurus
2000
latest

Like the previous three entries, I could decide which one of these dinosaurs should be added, due to their uniqueness in their characteristics and behaviors, so I added both to this entry. Austroraptor is a large piscivorous dromaeosaur(/unenlagiid?) that could have vibrant colors like the in-game Pyroraptor but being paleo-accurate like the in-game Utahraptor. For Dromaeosaurus, it would finally give us a considerably small-sized paleo-accurate dromaeosaur in the game.

7. Protoceratops
Protoceratops_andrewsi_Restoration.png

I think that this dinosaur should be added, since it was a very well-known species and was relatively small for a late Cretaceous ceratopsian. Although, maybe a paleo-accurate Velociraptor or a new small paleo-accurate dromaeosaur should be added to pair of with Protoceratops well (so the famous "fighting dinosaurs fossil" scene could be perfectly recreated for the game), since the Jurassic Park-ified raptors fighting Protoceratops would look very jarring.

8. Einiosaurus
Einiosaurus_BW.jpg

Okay, I might be biased on this one, but I absolutely adored this ceratopsian ever since its appearance in the documentary Dinosaur Planet, and this dinosaur looked really cool in both that documentary and in real life, due to its forward-facing nose horn. I was also thinking of adding Centrosaurus, but I think that Einiosaurus looks cooler in my opinion.

9. Shantungosaurus
Shantungosaurus_giganteus.png

If hadrosaurs get to fight back against large carnivores, we should get more hadrosaur varieties in the game, such as Hadrosaurus and Lambeosaurus, to name a few. However, none are more impressive than the massive Shantungosaurus, the biggest hadrosaur and the largest non-sauropod land animal to have ever existed. If this guy gets added, imagine how could it would be to house it in our parks.

10. Leaellynasaura
Leaellynasaura_new_118a.jpg

If we do get feathered non-theropod dinosaurs in the game, then Leaellynasaura should be added. Leaellynasaura is a small elasmarian, and we currently don't have elasmarians in the game (other than Muttaburrasaurus if that's an elasmarian, but that's besides the point), so adding a small and feathered ornithopod like Leaellynasaura would be amazing.

A lagoon enclosure that could connect to land. Some species in the game would be best featured in enclosures where they could rest and bask in the sun, on dry land, or lay on a beach. The rock platforms were a good start, but what if the animals could go in and out of the water in an enclosure connected to land.

So the new Lego sets for Rebirth were revealed... and it pretty much confirms the new dinosaur is indeed appearing... how else do you explain it being both a figure and another baby dinosaur build. Also, we're finally getting a movie-accurate Veciraptor, using a variant of the Atrociraptor figure!

I honestly really like the new sets and can't wait to get my hands on them! Also, to have these new Dinosaurs in my park!

I'd rather they just make a functional semi-aquatic system for semi-aquatic animals like a normal zoo games... and ditch the lagoon rock; it makes literally no sense...

Makes me wonder though... should we still be secretive about the new species, or can we talk about it out loud now? I mean, we do know more about it now than the mutant dinosaur...

If Cenozoic creatures make it in, which ones would you all want to see first? And do you think they deserve a new building to release that is not the present hatchery? I would call it a nursery, keep the same mechanics, but without egg hatching. And aesthetically I would make it look different.

A specialization I could imagine:
Woolly Mammoth would prefer maps with temperate to colder climates.
