I was wondering what the surprise would be. Will's expression when he talked about the "Krait related" give away made me suspicious.

He even made a point to clarify the "REDACTED" in the preliminary path notes was about the Krait. It's all coming together. You sneaky, sneaky man.

Good find CMDR, the screenshots seems legit and in line with FDev release plan. We will see in the next content releases.

Very interesting.

The Crusader could be an entirely new ship, or it might just be another variant on the Chieftain/Challenger hull. Probably a third combat ship to even out the Federal FGS/FAS/FDS triad. Yawn.

The Krait Phantom will obviously be a variant of the Krait MkII. The question is, what will it's focus be? With a name like "phantom" I'd almost expect a pirate ship which is highly stealthy, BUT that's pretty much what the MkII is all about with what we've been told. So, what would a Krait variant be designed to focus on? There are a few possibilities:

1. Combat Krait - knowing Frontier this is the most likely, but boring as we have enough combat ships.
2. Trader Krait - the word "phantom" does not scream trading.
3. Explorer Krait - I'm not sure why an exploration Krait would be coined the "Phantom"...
4. SLF Krait - Maybe it's not a full ship at all, but rather a mini-Krait in SLF format.

Guess we'll find out eventually.

More rehashes of the same ships :( god no...how about something new Boa perhaps, I don't like the way the devs are just creating ships from existing models surely a lazy approach, and making them "Thargoid ready" what about players who on't want to fight thargoids who just want a ship to explore or multitask.

Frontier please stop re-hashing ships, it will be your undoing. If anything bring back the originals Mk2 version if need be...
