Lagrange Clouds on PS4

has anything been actually rumoured yet, every time I look in codex I just get confirmed or reported entries, and 0 rumoured stuff. Guess the great ED rumour mill has writers block or they forgot to switch it on lol

My apologies. I meant reported. I’ve edited my post as to not confuse people.

Thanks Acid. +1 rep.

I visited a planet recently that showed nothing unusual (no geo/bio),but when i took the scarab out collecting i came upon a clump of rocks that were floating above the surface.Driving over them, the scarab was lifted about a meter off the ground. At first i thought it must be a bug,but the phenomena occured in more than one place and the shadows from the floating rocks were clearly visible on the ground beneath (as also from the scarab when i parked on top )
I checked as far as i was able in the codex, but found nothing.I can only speculate that the effect was caused by some new material (levitatium?,repellium?).
Will this do?

The material you speak of is Unfixedbugium, which is abundant in the ED universe and has adverse effects on a variety of equipment and environments.

Just to clarify, it was a proto-lagrange cloud I found, which apparently is boring on all platforms, LOL. Hopefully someday I'll find a more exciting one. I prefer finding these on my own vs. going to a "tourist site", so I'll keep looking, but someday I'll give in and do the tourist thing if I have no luck.

FWIW, fog in the planet rings looks pretty cool, even without the "god rays".

I visited the Lagrange cloud at the Gardens of Shanghai-la tonight.

That looks pretty cool. I have a question... in the external camera shots where your thrusters seem to be firing randomly, is that you manoeuvring or is it the ship being buffeted by the cloud and the FA trying to keep it stable?

Don' know / Can't remember.

I fly using a HOTAS so it is quite possible that it was my stick control whilst in free camera mode as I have a very small dead stick zone.

Yeah - I got a 'concentrated signal source' the other night on FSS but it comes up as NSP on the nav panel - turned out to be Stolon Pods - Virdigris Gyre.

Incidentally, I wasn't particularly impressed with the cloud they were in which was a mushy green blur all around my ship - they were in a different Main Sequence star class than indicated in the CODEX (K class not Y class) and try as I might I couldn't get them to drop anything.

Has anyone found anything / got anything from an NSP by the way on PS4 just wondering?

They differ, some are nicely coloured, some are dull grey. Seemingly there are quite some different types of clouds. Generally I like their addition.

Anyone know why they're called Lagrange clouds? Lagrange was a mathematician. He did some work on orbital mechanics but I doubt clouds would have been of any real interest to him.

My first guess would be because the clouds are only found in LaGrange points, which are places between multiple bodies where the gravity between them is reduced to nothing equally balanced.
