LATEST ATTACKS ON STATIONS

At last we have some movement by the Thargoids on stations outposts! a long time coming, However there needs to be a consistent flow here.

A, stations attacked heat issue should be removed it's not necessary its not a sun where by if it gets that hot that people would not survive anyway

B, Passenger missions credits should be based on player rep lets not get carried away with poor payments resulting in nobody bothering to rescue the over cooked people (see A)

C, thinking long term why not introduce a section of space lets say attacked regular by Thargoids that it would create a Green Thargoid nebulae all its own so changing a particular region
after all we are all used to the bubble and outer regions so why not change them slightly to keep immersion going.

D, Stations under attack should remain that way for a while at least no quick repair no back to normal so quickly why not have a ongoing Thargoid threat that now becomes even more bigger than we could imagine perhaps even a Thargoid home world base ship or something as a presence in a sector creating its own green nebulae and open to attack who ever is bold enough to take it on.

E, Continue the move forward for the Thargoids pushing into the bubble destroying as they go causing Total immersion for all players, players that will be either forced to act, flee and so on changing the way we are so used to.

Finally thoughts to frontier keep the momentum going keep pushing forward lets get bigger bolder, creative thinking even a destroyed planet base or two along with a barren planet half blow apart maybe the thought process for creating visuals in endless for Elite immersion, immersion, immersion is the way forward.
 
Not much I agree with here

A - I don't agree. This makes the rescue much more fun.
B - payment doesn't need to be high. If you won't do rescue because it doesn't pay well, says a lot about you not the game.
C - the 'Goids shouldn't be predictable, or commonplace
D & E - this would depend on how we are doing in the war effort.
 
A - it's implied that the hanger of the station is not as hot (based on the fact you don't explode by sitting in it) so the places where the people are is probably the same temperature.

B - You get about 5-15k per passenger. My clipper has 86 economy cabins, as well as a docking computer (for the rescue ship), a 2e cargo rack, and a 3d shield. It takes only a few minutes to travel from the station to the rescue ship and back. I make around 800k per run, and can make quite a few runs in a short amount of time. It takes very little skill (except docking/undocking in the station, which isn't too hard) or concentration and has low risk. If that's not good enough for you then find something else. Also the rescue ship has super inflated prices on some commodities, I remember seeing basic meds going for 3k, so if you want to go that route you could probably make some good cash too.
