Latest Firmware Version for Oculus?? Please help. Currently RiftLess.

Hi

Would anybody be kind enough to have a check in their C:\Program Files (x86)\Oculus\Support\oculus-runtime\firmware directory and tell me what the latest date is on the firmware file?
Even better if you can offer the name of a file inside the zip file at this location? \firmware\cv1\hmd_rf\

as an example my firmware.zip was last updated in July. The file name in the zip file is hmd_rf.2016-07-01_34a904e8da.bin (aka July).

You are a star. I just need to get a copy of it now. I am asking oculus support to help me update in TWC right way. It would be nice if this just involved copying the correct file into the directory.. currently I am stuck with the set up program.

The firmware.zip file itself last updated 17/11/2016

The hmd_rf.2016-07-01_34a904e8da.bin contained therein is correct.

Interesting so it could be just the touch components added. Currently as soon as hmd see sensor the service dies. Again ...

If you open a ticket with Oculus you might want to be more concise with exactly what is happening. They aren't very good when it comes to solving or for that matter admitting problems exist sometimes.

ie: In your above statement, not sure what services dies means, let alone "again"

Thanks. I will keep in mind. They have a full set of logs now. Last time the same occurred the sensor had failed. They have this on record.

Versions are - 178/e9c7e04064ed1bd7a089
and 708/34a904e8da

To avoid skip bypass the setup utility and get into HOME you have to unplug the USBs and HDMI
