If anyone at FDEV reads this would it be possible to add a IP/Web address system so we can stream audio directly in ED? would be a great addition at the moment I use Pocket Radio Player

Great idea, but would it be viable for consoles?
I am not sure of the appetite of Microsoft or Sony to introduce an open ip connection onto their consoles.

A slight change to the proposal, have FDev hook up to the IP address / web address centrally and then stream it through the client as an alternate option to Galnet Audio.

I would definitely listen to it.

We've already got a question like this to ask Ed on tomorrow's show... we shall see

Great show as per usual.

I was a little confused about the comment about materials traders. The traders show up as markers on the Galaxy Map. What's so difficult about using them?

Because of the 40 LY radius for the Galaxy Map's new search by facility feature, I was having problems finding them in beta using the in game tools, even in the bubble and forget about it in the Pleiades. Once the data gets into EDDB and we can just do "find by mat trader" of course it'll be easier...

Ahh! I didn't realise it was so limited. I was lucky where I was positioned when I tried it.

I guess once we get used to the locations of our local traders it won't be too bad though. I'm more likely to use the in-game map. Just out of laziness more than anything else. I can't be bothered loading up 3rd party tools
