Lave station shot me down while leaving?

Was going to trade rares for the first time and arrived in Lave without any problems.

Docked and entered the hangar to read up on the route.
Bought 3 sets of rare on arrival and 4 more prior to launch.

As soon as I took off from the launchpad the station lasers started shooting at me.

I noticed that there was loads of grey items on the scanner so i guess more ppl experienced the same and that this was the debris from them?

Any idea why this is happening?
I have behaved nicely while playing, just been trading so im puzzled why the station shot me down without warning?

Not sure I dare leaving the station again now that I bought back my ship.

Would you by any chance happen to have a point defense turret equipped?

Yes, I have such a device. Never had any issues with it before though.

Missiles, mines and limpets activate the point defense turret. When this happens inside a station your turret is likely to hit the station as well. If this happens the station turns hostile to you.

While waiting for the fix the recommendation is to disable your turret from the modules menu on the right side panel before entering a station.
