It still looks like a simple Lego construction versus a serious ED ship. May I offer this thread.

Ok, seeing this masterpiece led me to running the song "If I were a rich man" over and over again in my head. Another bloody amazing piece of work. Now all it needs is for it to be lit up! Is the Cobra really that big compared to the minifigs? Good lord that is HUGE. I wonder how big my Type 10 would be at Lego minifig scale..........It still looks like a simple Lego construction versus a serious ED ship. May I offer this thread.

Hopefully not harsh but inspiration...Seems a little harsh to be honest.

You know, Rubbernuke, that ships of yours is gonna need..........LIGHTS! It's a thing with me. Anytime I see a Lego project, whether it's mine or someone else's, I start rummaging through all my Lego electrical bits to see what kind of light show can be incorporated into it. Urge...to...stick...Lego...lights...all...over...Rubbernuke's...Asp...rising.
A small update- made a small scanner based on the icon in game:

Don't forget the classic space requirement for insanely expensive colored parts - trans yellow makes old grey look cheap!Well, those are all bought for classic castle MOC's. You know, mix 80's early 90's Lego Idea Books with some pictures of medieval Italian hamlets, throw in a few Forestmen with red pants, palm tree trunks with Plant Leaves 6 x 5 for leaves, add some Black Falcon shields. That sort of stuff.

My mrs bought me that for Christmas last year and hid the individual parts around our flat like a treasure hunt - it took until I found the trans yellow hoses to work out what it was.I fondly remember the wacky coloured Lego space you could get (you can see one set here in the lower middle, looking like something from a sweetshop). And monorail!
Luckily it's one of the few pieces me and my brother didn't leave our dental records on as kids!
Wow, you must have been the special boyMy folks bought me the monorail when I was young (giving away my age...!) and I still have it somewhere in their attic - absolutely awesome!
My approach is the same. It’s all part of the fun I think, and I enjoy problem solving. I use enough 3D design software for work....I don't use any computer software, just prototype, learn and rebuild![]()
