no no surely its got to be a krait?
Really long way, considering your underside legos are upside down, you need to refactor them!I would not mind doing a Phantom, although the underside has similar angles to the Asp (just inverted and flat on top). But I still have a looong way to go with this one yet![]()
And having to wear shoes indoors ever after.if it was me there would smashed pieces scattered across the house
I’ll throw this here as it’s something related to look at.
most of the rooms partitioned now. Working in the mandibles. And some of the exterior.

What ya making? You guys really got me fired up. Ordered a bunch of Lego from Bricklink. 6 packages showed up in the mail today. Time for me to REALLY GET CRACKIN (maybe Lego IS a plastic version of crack)!
A spaceship based on the design I showed on page 9 of this thread. Already have most of the "white section" finished. Cargo bay is all done complete with airlocks on either side. Outer airlock doors open up to show the interior of the bay (inner airlock is transparent aluminum (big transparent Lego panel). Cargo bay is also already lit with red lights. When I get this beast done, I'll have to put up some pics. I find there are generally two camps of Lego builders. Those like Rubbernuke that do wireframe models and then panel them, and then those like me who tend to build spacefilling models that use a lot of slope bricks to get that angled look. This thing will be around 80 to 85 cm long once it is finished. Crew deck, engineering and the bridge will be red lit like the cargo bay. The 10 thrusters will be blue lit. The sensor array that will extend out from the nose of the ship will be also blue lit. It won't be as fancy or cool as Rubbernuke's Asp, but it's got me all nutzy right now and I have had quite a few sleepless nights slamming stuff together. Lego is just so damn fun! As a side note, I'm starting to get the itch to build the Rocinante. That will have to wait until I get this ship finished though. What ya making?

@Rubbernuke looks like your filling in the skin. Looking great! Always the best part.
Here is the update on the Falcon......
Decided to go for flush holes in the mandibles as i prefer the cleaner look compared to the circles stuck on top.
next I’m just working out the plate arrangement for the outer shell. ... of course, this will take months to make because swapping things around...
