Lego Asp Scout (UCS minifig 1:96ish scale) update

Really its working around the cleanest edges- my problem was I had an interior cage that was perfect but the joins were impossible over the top. In the end I ditched the hybrid approach and used plates with minimal technic (and old technic mainly :D new stuff is really bendy).
Ha! I'm kinda screwed there, I only got in to technic fairly recently, so all my technic is new...

Having said that, the Ducati has some potentially useful parts, now that I think about it.

BTW - I'm looking at the Asp Explorer as my project, just to clarify.
Z...

Bear in mind the Asp ships are hard edges with little curved areas. Flat technic panels are useful, but generally (for me anyway) the outer skin is large plates covered in flat tiles and greebles.

Its not dead! Just been messing with the interior details (and trying to work out how to photograph it all :D )

Here is the ceiling of the main deck (on the port side of the ship). These panels are removable. You can also just see an octagonal hatch in the middle which is access from the galley to what will be bunks.
