Add more HRPs.Cheers! Its really heavy now- I just discovered that the rear of the ship is heavier than the front (when the front plate is taken off) and that it wants to flip back if I push the wrong waynew pants please

Building it for 'real' is very Zen like! Not to mention the sound of rustling LegoOnce again, one like for doing all this with real Lego seems insufficient.![]()

I might have to make a Power decal and plonk it on the hull somewhereThis is amazing. And you've chosen a beautiful ship for it. Did you fit the powerplay in?
Very nice wotk!Just to quickly interrupt the Doom broadcasts and me mentioning that feature I'm quite keen on to post piccies of Lego progress since its been aaagggeesssss

Just when you think the Asp Scout can't give any more, it quantum tunnels into another game for added value.Very nice wotk!
You picked a good ship - because when you do finally succumb to the DOOM! and inevitably take up [the other space game] you can just call it a Nomad.
Nice work, but you might want to consider some sort of ventilation system before your crew tuck in to the beans, either that or crack a windowThanks to a certain Mr X who very kindly sent some food items, the Asp Scout now has a totally boss snack station and some nice chairs...
The first design- was compact but was too tall for minifigs

A wider but lower version:

And a quick snap of the lounge (minus the pastry 1x1 rounds and other loose items (for now):

The cheeky chappie also sent some kale, but we all know where that goes, don't we![]()
One of the advantages of Remloks- it seals the second it detects a core breach....Nice work, but you might want to consider some sort of ventilation system before your crew tuck in to the beans, either that or crack a window![]()

Awesome work!!!A quick? update as its been a while...
In the quest for perfection, the model had to undergo a total rebuild- this will be its fifth (!) and hopefully last until I have a funny turn.
The aim for this version is that parts can be easily removed for access to the lower deck because before I'd lovingly kit it out.....only to never see it again. And if I can't show it off whats the point? eye twitches
So here are some piccies:
Basic superstructure (much much cleaner than before using technic plates)

The cockpit is now fully detachable allowing access below- you can also see the SRV bay here:

Here you can see me blocking out the two deck corridors:

Here is a more advanced version, where the lower cockpit and upper cockpit separate so you can see the lower deck better:

With it all attached- the white cowl behind the cockpit is detachable too

Cheers! Its further along than these photos too- I'm currently experimenting with the engineering section. But fingers crossed I now have (although I'll need mOAr Lego) the design for all the external plating.Awesome work!!!
