Let's talk about size (maps)

So I started a zoo planning for this to be a really big zoo with (hopefully) every animal in the game in it (or at least as many as I can handle). Now I kinda picked a random map (well not random I wanted an European map as I'm European and Temperate just sounded okay, not too hot not too cold) thinking they would all be about the same size as the beta map. Now I started building as I planned but today I zoomed out and noticed the map wasn't as big as I expected. Now my building is huge but still the edge of the map should be way off and it isn't. I mean I build (or tried to build) a mega enclosure in beta for the african plains animals and it was way bigger then anything I did now put together and the enclosure still wasn't half the size of the map. So first of all I kinda want to know which maps are bigger (and also if there is a way to tell before starting up a zoo). And second, is there a way to transfer my zoo to another map? I could blueprint everything and place it at the new zoo but pathing is so annoying and redoing all the research, I'd rather just move it somehow. (Though I doubt that's possible). Any ideas and help would be appreciated.

this is simple. all maps are exactly the same and look nearly exactly the same. they are all flat and the same size. theres zero variation apart from the main ground texture, the background image and the temperature range.

I definitely remember the beta map being bigger. Like I said In beta I (tried to) build this really big enclosure and it didn’t even take up a quarter of my map (or maybe just, I don’t know game failed before I could look at it from high above). That enclosure was probably bigger or same size as the greenhouse and zoo entrance I have now put together yet my map seems way more filled now then during beta.

At the very least, you can have layers of habitats, so you could make a multi-story zoo or the like.

Okay so went back to check from some different perspectives and the map probably is still the same size guess from the top and not having much to reference it with, except the massive building, it looked smaller.
