Just arrived in Lugh at Knight Dock

Just pulled up roots in Giguara. Currently own a Type 6 and I'm fixing to outfit a new Viper for the cause (sold mine before the move). What's the best way I can help the cause?

I would like to bring up that when we were focusing on missions in Mikunn, one guy who was doing combat and blowing things up was able to counteract all our efforts. It is my opinion that missions do little to nothing influence wise. Once we switched to combat we were easily able to turn the tide.

I've heard rumors that you want our help, if that's the case we have some proven methods of bringing up influence but it involves combat. We will need the names of the factions you want hit.

Of course we take payment in Palladium or future favors down the road since I like your group. ;)

I seen a guy last night in a Type 7 in Lugh and his name was 'Rich Boy'. He got away before I could hail him on the comms. Who are these people? Who do they work for? Can we persuade them to work for us?

Welcome Mercs! We have need of some control of those Commanders that feel it is more helpful to aid the enemies of Lugh. We can also use help in keeping the factions that fight us daily in check. Thank you for checking in and may all the fighters of the dreaded galactic bugs that plaque our minds in the quiet of night find solace in removing those issues that we have the power to remove.

Bought a Type-6 yesterday (from Baladin, if that makes any difference) and spent a bit of time doing trading. Maybe 2-3 million profit in total. I hope that has done some good. I was in solo most of the time so didn't spot any stranger danger - maybe tonight I'll risk a bit of open action to tempt out ne'er-do-wells with my juicy booty.

In preparation for upcoming war, I have been creating a recruitment propaganda video, with the help of orfeboy and a few others. Please don't share this yet - I will probably be publishing a final version later day but wanted folks on this thread to get a preview:

All shot in the Lugh system and edited down in iMovie, with music by the 70's Irish rock bank Horslips. Thank you to everyone who joined the raids that I was using for footage - I hope I included you in somewhere! I think the main requested change is to include a bit of footage of Lugh Star, which I'll try to do but I'm not sure I'll have time to shoot the footage and edit it in.

I've changed the YouTube channel to be called "Crimson State Group"; if anyone is interested in publishing videos to the channel then PM me and we can discuss plans and add you as a "manager".

What are the effects of people taking part in the conflict zones, does it take influence from everyone?
Is it just taking influence from the opposing side?

I did a lot of trade to lugh over the weekend. And I plan to buy a '7 before the weekend and install a Size 2 beam turret on the asp. So lots of trade runs to come.

I would agree. I only got to do 2 million in profit last night. All that discussion took longer than I thought it would. So not a whole lot...

It is interesting what is happening. You have to wonder that if there is a group working against us how committed and busy are they? It would have to be a military style opporation they are running! :)

Rumour has it that conflict zone activity has no effect at all unless part of a community goal or mission...

Do what I did. Strip a high value module off the asp and buy your T7 now. You will buy back the module faster than you can blink. You will be spitting in the wind trying to do it in the asp. The earning power of the T7 is staggering and you will be doing so much more for CSG during that time. Then if you need to strip the T7 to pump up your asp for combat you can...
