How can you have Federation leanings after what you have witnessed here in Lugh? Can you not see their warmongery? Have you not witnessed their unwillingness to settle this peacefully? Democraticly under their own system? Have you not witnessed the missing pperson posters hanging on every surface of every station interior? Have you failed to hear the shrill cries of every mother for the loss of their children? Have you failed to notice the the unlawful yet open sale of slaves in LTT4846? Can you ignore the persecution of a mans right to follow his own religion? Would you support a system that persecuted those who would choose to find their own spiritual path in life? Does this sound like a regime that is fair and just? A regime that you would desire to be part of? Or does this infact sound like a facist regime whos members are simply to doused in its doctrine of lies and wrapped in its symbolism to recognise the beast into which it has evolved?
Preaching ideals and moral beginnings is noexcuse for the crimes of the present. The worm which you call this Federation is nothing more than a monster who leans upon noble star systems in order to suck them dry of all they possess. To prop up their moneymen while the weak are forgotten. These people are too indoctrinated in their own system to fathom the possibility that there is a better and fairer way for people to co-exist.
But the wheels are turning my friend and those wheels can never be stopped once they are in spin. They may repress those who challenge them but each blow they deal will knaw at them like a cancer until one day their filthy regime will come toppling down. History has proven this to be true of every bloated worm that one day finds it can no longer feed its maw.
And this worm shall prove no different...
The adjutant knocked studiously on the door of Vice Admiral Meneeder's 'office'. "Come" came the age ravaged voice from within.
Meneeder lay on the bed in the darkened room. Tubes and machines whirred and filtered keeping the venerable lady alive. She was a shell, a shattered remnant but her eyes were still bright and piercing, cold and hard. A lifetime of harsh action had honed her gaze. "What is it?" She questioned hoarsely.
"The heretics of Lugh have issued another proclamation." the adjutant stuttered, Meneeder stirred "Show me". Data flowed onto the consoles around her, those needle sharp eyes ran fluidly over every demand and accusation. Then, after careful consideration she spoke;
"These men and women, they think they are creatures of action. That they fight for a cause. For the right to have something they currently do not. When will they realize they are part of a wider whole? A whole, that in their greed and avarice for personal gain they have chosen to ignore. There is a name for things that spread and seek a wider autonomy than the creature that contains them. This leader of theirs is correct, they are a cancer. They are not a righteous group, fighting for independence against oppression. They are errant cells gnawing at the collective whole. In their blindness they will not see reason. In their thirst for power within this tiny principality, they cannot comprehend the damage they are doing." The adjutant shifted uneasily but she was far from finished.
"If words will not make them understand then the federation will use the only other means it can; pain. Even the dumbest animal can be brought to heel with the correct application of suffering. Must we emasculate them and have them watch, as we eviscerate the ones they profess to love? How sick must we make them of war before they sheathe their swords?
Will they force us to burn every religious text and murder every priest until their faith is but a half remembered pipe dream? Must we bombard their holy sites until they are ash? If they will fight the federation then mark my words they will open the gates of hell upon themselves and their people. Must they be made to wade through the blood of their families, before they will see reason? Will they really ask this of us? Beg us for this, by their actions? The suffering these few will cause will make those they wish to rule curse their names. Summon the fleet. This petty insurrection WILL end."
With an age shaking hand, Meneeder approved the invasion documents.
