Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

I have a day off work, and it looks like outbreak has happened in Lugh. Anything I can do to help fix it? I'm guessing this is a job for the T7, not the Vulture :)

Should be a case of shipping in medicines to beat that. Obviously only trade at CSG stations within Lugh though!

From memory, taking Computer Components to somewhere like Belarsuk and bringing back Progenitor Cells was quite lucrative and hopefully because the Prog Cells are medicines it should help the current situation.

And if you want to take the vulture out for a spin too (in between medicine supply runs of course), then bounty hunting within Lugh will help beat off the impending lockdown...

Yep, Lugh has gone down hill since CSG took control, it's a lawless system now. I'm guessing all of the cats are dead from people "enjoying" their weapons.

That's a good subject. You just stay away from all those nasty adulty things and go play with your nice safe subject-approved toys.

Yeah, so true. It has gone "everyone has been enjoying repeated economic booms", "an outbreak has been avoided", "criminals and trouble makers are killed on sight" and "an elite defence force is patrolling the system" downhill. How much worse could it have gone for the people of Lugh ? I mean, even the children have stopped disappearing since the Federal police is not the one in charge of the investigation anymore ... Shocking !

More CSG propaganda lies, Lugh is actually in an outbreak. What have the CSG been doing to the poor people of Lugh?

No but I'll give you a reason not to; it has all the handling characteristics of a house-brick!
I was really looking forward to swanning around the galaxy in a dropship, and then I bought one. At the moment turrets don't work on the sidepoints unless you set them to fire forward, so you're easily taken out by anything that's manouverable. Cargo space isn't bad, and you can tank it, but I lasted about 3 hours before ditching it for an asp.

OK, so I was wrong.

I've gone back and had another go with the DS, and this time added some upgrades. It's still slow and ungainly, but it can take some punishment in a CZ. Turrets still don't work on "fire at target" but "fire at will" is ok. Now I just need some more cash to sink into her.

I think it no coincidence that the illness has infected the children of Lugh first. Presumably if the Feds can't have their "meat" then they'd sooner have it spoiled. Such a ploy won't work. CSG asked me tonight for a million credits. I didn't even hesitate in giving it.

The feds cannot win.

Anyone here wish that they'd been in an Isinona video? Well some CSG supporters were (Nobody I know but hey!) ...

The ending is VERY NICE :D

So i'm still down south in imperial turf, trying to earn a Clipper. I'm allied with the Empire and have Knight rank, and no more missions are poping up for rank improvement. I also have a 29% something discount off clippers that ends in about 7 ish days, so i'm still down here for a while.

What have i missed?

Edit: Any tips on acquiring navel progression missions? 2 more ranks and i can go home.

Donation missions. all of em. give food, give money, give weapons, anything of the sort. if there aren't any, take a courier mission and check the station over there. free slave missions help too. if you are strong enough [ and lucky enough ] assassination missions [ assuming you don't get redirected ] are very effective at bringing up the invisible progress bar. combat missions that aren't assassination missions just aren't worth your time. i went from master to baron in... about 3 days.

cemiess and its surroundings are a good base to lvl up empire rank, for it has many minor factions. i did hit baron in about 18 to 24 hours starting from cero.
though i dont know if you can do it if your already allied with the empire, for what i understood you get the progression missions upon increase of reputation with factions...
where ever you look for answers everyone says: just keep doing missions^^"

btw it has been awfully quit in here, is that on prupose to let the system settle down? hows it going in lugh?

We are still running missions and monitoring the system to consolidate CSG's influence. But since this is not very exciting and the members involved are talking to each other mainly through TeamSpeak and the in-game chat, this thread has indeed gone pretty quiet. There have been a few discussions as to what will be done next, but with Powerplay around the corner it may be wiser to stick to a "wait & see" attitude for now.

Here's the breakdown of what different sized groups can pull in an Local community goal.

Seems like a nice analysis. I'll give it a more attentive read later.

Thought you guys might be interested, being one of the more public groups.

Interesting estimates on the number of people required. If only people were as motivated to do a trading goal as a combat goal. Funny for me to say that as that is the very reason Lugh is independent right now... :p
