Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

After trading like crazy in my Type 9 this weekend and making almost 200 Mio. (only to Balandin, so i did not support LFE), i wanted to buy a class A Python and switch to do some missions, but now with the seeking luxuries zones all over the place i guess i have to continue.
BIG question: Will this really support CSG or do the profits go to LFE? This is very important. If i only trade with the Type 9 CSG ships i "should" support CSG but i'am not sure and i really don't want to hurt them.
edit: I'll stay away from them until we can get an answer to this.

A warning though - selling to them = smuggling. Your rep with whatever controlling faction in that system will drop.
So if you're working on rep, you might want to be aware of this.

who are the progressive party? Are they idependent or Feds?

Feds.

Just a heads up that the processing queue has now run successfully for the past two days so we're now considering that bug fixed. We'll continue looking into the influence being applied into the wrong system for factions expanding into other systems.

Awesome news. Thanks to you and the rest of the team! :)

rep loss with the feds and/or lfe would not worry me that much. its more the influence gain/loss which matters to me and until we know more it is just to risky for me to try out.

Brothers! I bring good news! An exploration windfall for the Crimson State!

Just got back from Coalsack. 4 day journey.

Total number of systems scanned: Over 120/140

Selling all systems 5k and below: 150k.

Selling all systems 10k and below: 120k.

Sellin all systems 50k and below: 500k.

Hope that helps.

Nice job! Our god shines ever brighter as we continue to bring light to those dark places on the map!

You guys rock! You kill the bugs, we'll check the results! go Team! :)

Take my place of Srimson State Group freedom fighter, brother.
And i will go to LTT 4846 to stop federation's fraction expansion!

Oh I'm there compadre. Jumped in at the weekend - was a few hundred light years out. I'm here until the end. Godspeed my friend.

If they come they will have a hard time competing with CSG. What is the worst that could happen? They replace silver Natural for 1%?

Hopefully they will threaten someone else and it will give us a good reason to teach them a lesson...

you wouldn't even notice them :D
expanding factions are currently completely broken atm
they can expand, but they can't gain influence outside their home system

Took on a mission to source pesticides. It was a gamble (30 mins). Ran out of time and got an updated message that I got an extension. Pretty cool. First time coming across that.

Edit: glad I didn't abandon when I felt it wasn't gonna happen. Lesson learned - let the timer run out - just in case!

Oh, interesting. I saw that on a mission after a server update and assumed it was to compensate for the down time.

Friendly with CSG now. Huzzah. Love the way the friendly stations appear green in the hud. Man I love this game.

Belarsuk. Plenty of cheap pesticides there.

Gives you a bit of a buzz, certainly!

I've spent the evening fighting in Zeaex to see how it works. The two factions are both at 0% with no stations, so it's kinda pointless. Fighting against the Fed's faction I got 3000 bounty per kill but no visible +ve/-ve reputation from either side. I had a look at the "Low Intensity" conflict zones, which seemed pretty high intensity to me! Going to have a peak at a high intensity one just for curiosity.

At the moment I think we should consider these ships to be working for LFE. They just arrived when their boom hit. They are still the controlling power in the system so I would think that is who they work for.

(edit) I just noticed these ships have CSG as their faction in that screen shot. I suppose logically they would have to be CSG ships but who knows if the game system is running right?

OK I just found a group of 3 type 9's at one of these sites that are aligned to Lugh Defence Force. Now LDF do not have a boom going so I can only assume the money from these ships go to the controlling faction. Why would LDF ships be here for a boom from CSG or LFE? Does not make sense therefore I think we should steer well clear of them.

If there's a fine attached, I have a feeling you'll still get fined though... anyone?

WOULDNT THE funds goto LDF, the smae thing hapened in HR with the dukes picking up npc spawning in seeking good-luxuries type sites.

The logic being factions give missions even in stations they dont control. The factions traders and agents can still work out of an station that doesnt belong to them.
Wouldnt the credits goto the faction that spawns the traders. Perhaps they are muscling in on trade. A rule could be LDF shoot em, if they are the CSG faction trade with em. It discourages their traders from trying to cut in on the boom and steal funds from the boom faction. (privateer / trade interdiction / trade diversion tactic at work)
