Depands. To check which faction is it, you need to take mission. For me Hartsfield medical officer was from CSG

And it is explanable. Players have no any affiliation to a faction outside combat zones.

It seems that allied to CSG commanders are not highlited by green color.

Not to mention that the friend of my friend does not make them my friend as well, anymore than the enemy of my enemy is my friend. I'm an Imperial agent supporting Lugh's freedom fighters. If there are some Neo-Abolitionists supporting Lugh as well, that will never make us allies. I happen to view them as terrorists, and I'm not sure who'd survive another attemp to "rescue" me from my own choices.

I have come from the depth of Imperial space, at the helm of my lovely Python to assist Lugh in its quest for freedom!
Well, in fact i arrived yesterday but i did a lot of flying around and a bit of fighting to get familiar with the system and its surroundings, and did quite a few missions too. And good god i didnt like the Federation, but now it's on! Their security ships interdict me every other minutes and costing me a fortune on repairs, i swear i'm going to repay myself in war bounds when the war eventually blossoms.
Sooo yeah. If you need some firepower, any form of assistance or just chat or whatever, hook me up in the great dark. I'm not just here to help, but also to make friends!

I sware I killed some ships with kill warent scanners but didn't get any counts toward my mission. Now I get to see what happens when a kill mission times out

Wow, last night we were at 69%. Amazing!!!
The only way to make it i found is to go into anarchy system and search USS where bounty hunters fighting pirates.Can anyone give me some pointers on hunting bounty hunters?

Help hunters to kill pirates, and then kill hunters.
But this kind of USS is extreeeeemeeeeeely rare, especially when you have another missions.
So either dont do it, either go for it then you have no other missions in list and alot of time.
