Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

Agraculture I CARINAE. (Population 11 billion).
Extraction BANGWA.
Anarchy JIUYOU (for missions to freedom slaves).
High-tech BELARSUK is most popular.
BELARSUK also have Empire station for bounty monetisation.

sorry, little confused by this. these are places i should go for more missions, or places i should go to complete missions i get in lugh? also, which station should i base myself out of/do missions out of? i remember something way back in this thread about you guys "switching stations." is there one we use more than others or are trying to flip?

Is it just an information where to get goods, you might need.
At this moment only one station get flipped to CSG - Baladin Gateway. (probably manually by developers)
And there no any confirmation yet, that if most missions are made from some port - it will be flipped next.
So do CSG missions at any Lugh station you like.
But trade only with CSG stations.
Full stations and port's information you can find here http://starchart.club/map/

Read the original post. You will findinstructions there. Do not just do random stuff. You will do us damage. Everything you need to know is in that first updated section of that post.

Wow, last night we were at 69%. Amazing!!!

Yes there was some serious work done there. I myself spent the whole day at it yesterday but others must have done the same sort of thing to achieve that! :)

Greetings!

I have come from the depth of Imperial space, at the helm of my lovely Python to assist Lugh in its quest for freedom!
Well, in fact i arrived yesterday but i did a lot of flying around and a bit of fighting to get familiar with the system and its surroundings, and did quite a few missions too. And good god i didnt like the Federation, but now it's on! Their security ships interdict me every other minutes and costing me a fortune on repairs, i swear i'm going to repay myself in war bounds when the war eventually blossoms.

Sooo yeah. If you need some firepower, any form of assistance or just chat or whatever, hook me up in the great dark. I'm not just here to help, but also to make friends!

Welcome Ally. Start putting that Python's cargo hold to good use and start shipping goods into Balandin Port. Read the original post and follow its direction closely.

wilco, thanks. I figured there was something specific you wanted us to do/not do, so that's why I asked before venturing out (and why I asked for clarification after the first response, wanted to make sure I was helping, not hindering). we had that problem in tilian, lol...

questions: did we ever flip punario orbital, and if so what did it take to flip it and what changed? if we get attacked by CSG pirates, we just ignore them, correct?

TBH i think elite anacondas assosination missons can benefit more with unusual perks and strong another factions hits, and python will make it really fast. For trading we have few t9 here)
For exapmle imagine, if one of this elite anacondas will be a LFE leader...

What the heck is that? I´m green with LFE now for whatever Reason. Didn´t have run any Missions for them. Did only CSG Missions allover. The only Missions where LFE (somehow) were involved, were some Data- and several 'physical' Delieverys from CSG Stations to Sesuang Carter/Sellers. They gave Influence to GSG and not to LFE allthough they were good overall for Sesuang. That was only a handful Missions over the last Weeks, compared to the tons of CSG Missions i did. Strange stuff. Allied with CSG and friendly with LFE now. Hopefully that won´t have any impact in the Battlefields so that wether everyone attacks me or some other strange things happening.

Where you were taking missions? I have a theory thet station onwer have litle benefit from another factions missions also.
2nd variant - bounty hunting for Federation. It gives litle benefit on reputation.
3rd variant - all Federation factions are linked, and you are friendly with Federation by some other faction in other system.

(!) now you can do some alternative finishers for LFE missions, and hurt them a bit)

does doing missions in solo play affect the same standings as open play?
Yes it does.

Yes it does.

Hmmm could be possible Variant 3, cause i am friendly with ARTH - Midgeley Dock. I believe they´re Feds. Traded a lot of Metals as additional Cargo when i was on my Circle through the Systems. Didn´t do any specific Missions there but basic-traded some Metals, everytime i came from Chambo to Arth.
And yeah there´s one other Thing. One of the Missions was a Rep Mission that i had mistaken last Week That gave me a Fed-Rank 'Recruit' but the green status with LFE is since today and there was no significant Stuff i did for them. wether today nor in the Past.

I dream to see this status on LFE board... :p

That is very interesting. Because Civil Unrest seems to be a state and that makes me wonder whether civil unrest results from missions have nothing to do with civil war at all. I have noticed that you rarely get civil unrest up anymore even from weapon delivery missions. Perhaps civil war is purely % influence based and the particular states that Michael Brookes refers to in order to flip a station are something else altogether? Or perhaps you need civil war pending and civil unrest to kick it off?.

I used to think this way but now I am starting to think all these states are bad for the current station owner and that civil wars happen purely based on influence.

My theroty from what i've seen.
May be civil war start between 2 faction when they have same % of influence during some period.
And Lugh just skipped it in december by fast CSG influence grow?
What factions are pending Civil War in SESUANG?

And civil unrest is state before faction disband, or reborn with new leader,
when faction have 'below' 0% influence for some period of time.

Considering station flip, Baladin Gateway - first and only precedent what i know.
Suggesting, it was made manually by developers, and they have no flip mechanic implemented yet.

Indeed, i am more looking for combat missions rather than trading. While i have ample cargo capacity on my ship, the Python turns out (to my dismay) to be a terrible trading ship due to its prohibitive operation costs, i feel like i am feeding liquid gold to this thing.

So yes, my ship is geared for war and i am going to focus on big game hunting, and some hauling and combat missions, i might also gun down some fed' security ships if i can get away with it though, those guys are so annoying.

Yesterday i spent the morning and afternoon doing multiple missions for CSG at Cavendish Ring, bringing in Battle Plans, Artifacts, and Non-Lethal Weapons, along with grain.

Hope that helped.

Be aware, you might need access to Federation controlled starports in future))

Finally got the hang of getting into the station without getting a 64k credit fine. The long dash does work, and you ask for permission to dock at 4km.

Wound up selling 12 battle plans at the same station i got the non lethal weapons from, some independent station 5 systems away for 1700 less than they were worth. Oh well.

On Civil Unrest - as far as I've seen, it is a separate state from Civil war. From how I interpret the description of the state, Civil unrest means that a faction can change leadership, which I guess might lead to things like Dictatorship factions ''thawing'' into Democracies, or Democracies having a revolution or coup that makes them communist or autocratic, etc.

Will see)

I was approaching Balandin a little while ago and there was a dumb NPC Type 9 that got hung up under the cage. I stopped to watch thinking it surely would be entertaining. Somehow the thing turned wanted, it's shields going up and down, hull down to 13%.
i have to thank the CMDR in the Cobra who exploded just as my scan resolved into his name (didn't catch it). He must have thought it would be fun to shoot the now wanted T9 even though it was actually physically touching the station. The station retaliated. Entertaining indeed.

Just look at this!
LTT 18486. 30k population.
True chaos is going on here.
Faction expanced from other system have same influence as main faction.
One minor in civil unrest, one in lockdown, both pending civil war between them.
Critical outbreak. It seems almost all statuses either exists, either pending in this small system.
(!) And according to information of 8 december from http://starchart.club/ there was no any stantion or outpost owner change.
Just population dramatically decrease from 90 to 30k.

look at this.png

I think this is a result of many many random newcomers actions, this system is close to LHS 3447, where most of pilotst start.
