At the High Intensity combat zone in Zeaex there were a couple of players on the Fed's side, so I guess we can expect the same if we get Civil War. We might want to coordinate times for a group of us to go in together so we're not picked off by experienced combat players. Or maybe I need to do enough trading to get a Python...

Oh, interesting. I saw that on a mission after a server update and assumed it was to compensate for the down time.

We have a lockdown brewing! We need to stop doing missions that increase lockdown. That means we need to stop bringing in non-lethals.

Any mission that increases 'Lockdown' stop it!

Guys, we need to identify the missions that decrease lockdown and do lots of them. Can anyone give us confirmation on this?

We got data on the reyults of about hundred different missions. The only one that decreases lockdown is killing authority vessels in another system.
Might be a data entry error, however.

Carry on as normal, try to get economic boom and keep the food and consumer goods flowing to counter act it

GETTING RID OF THE EVIDENCE - bring black box for bad guys. boom+ bust- lockdown+ influence+ reputation+
SALVAGE BLACK BOX FROM XXX - this is for good guys. boom+ bust- unrest- influence+ reputation+
Do not do the first!

If you want to stop lockdown, you should do more kill N pirates missions
GUNS FRO HIRE NEEDED IN XXX -> unrest- lockdown- influence+ reputation+
PROACTIVE COMBAT MISSIONS AVAILABLE -> unrest- lockdown- influence+ reputation+

ALSO, all the fetch missions which request alcohol increase lockdown, so avoid those too. e.g. "The Weekend Needs Landing" and such like.

Re the "Seeking Luxuries" zones: I visited one last night out of curiosity. 3 ships: each from a different faction. NONE of them were CSG! Be careful out there! I'm going to avoid them for now - apart from anything else, I'm not sure what goods they take but I also don't want to accidently drop out of SC right next to one of a different faction.

Yes. I did main task for 3 of them with updated alternative after 1.0.5. All results were :
Crimson State Group unrest- lockdown- influence+ reputation+
Anarchy faction from other system lockdown+ unrest+ outbreak+ influence- perutation-

The only problem with it, it can take alot time (2-3h for 7 pirates).
Because it count only pirates in USS where pirates + traders event rolled.
Any other kill-warrant scanner wanted ships / interdicters are not count.
Also, i'm noticed that necessary USS event (pirates + traders) is rolled more often when you have cargo full of anything.
May be it is just random luck, but may be deep in game mechanic.
So when im going for this mission, im loading full cargo with biowaste/scrap, and replacing it if i found something valuable.

Finally got back from a 4 day trip to the North America Nebula last night. I dropped nearly 2,000,000 credits worth of exploration data at Knights Dock. Hope it helps the cause.

Going to trade up to an ASP now before heading out again.

As a owner of only an adder I cannot contribute to your efforts, but it think, it is a very interesting experiment.
Hopefully the devs are looking to your results and checking this against the expected behaviour of their system.

I'm doing missions on sidewinder, for nothing distract me from this.
Did more then hundred, and i dont feel any discomfort because of my ship ))))
A class, mirror armor, gimbal burst, dumbfire missiles, kill-warrant, heat sinks, and 10t cargo capcity. More than enough ^^

The size of your ship doesn't matter. Even if you're in a sidewinder, you can run messages for CSG, fetch some small stuff, and supplement your income with a little trading. In an adder, you can do much more than that.

An adder can hold about 28 tons. Sounds pretty good to me. Not to mention all the missions it is capable of. The Adder is a good ship. Get out there!

1. Picture: A faction having active lockdown status a week ago in Nuenets system.
2. Picture: Current pending states of the same faction a week later.

The only good side effect lockdown would have for CSG is that we cannot trigger expansion :)
Lockdown also spawns Checkpoints in the system chart. Overall we dont need that (maybe it has something to do while or after having a civil war).
Please also update first post of this thread for new players. Not trading in Weapons etc..

Lockdown can also lead to an Outbreak. Results would be this:
