Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

Hunting bounty hunters in empty systems is insanity hard.
The only way to find them is USS rolled with pirates and traders, and sometimes, very rare, one bounty hunter on viper or clipper will jump in a bit after you, scan you and instantly jump out if you are clean, without bother about flying around pirates)))
You may never roll it in 2-3 hours, so i suggest to never take this missions for CSG, because you need to be really lucky and have good reflexes to do it.
Hope Michael will read this and take into account :)

It's easier to hunt bounty hunters if you have a small bounty on your head. Get a bounty from an independent system, or get a fine and let it convert to a bounty. Just never pay it off, and I would think bounty hunters with a KWS should stick around and try to kill you.

On a slightly related note, has anyone ever even seen a "propogandist?"

Have you actually tried this out and it worked for you?

I ask because this is my approach but the kills never get triggered on the mission status, I have a support ticket open with this for weeks but no reply yet. I just stopped doing bounty hunter missions, maybe there was a ninja fix and I didn't notice it.

Just doing a kill bounty hunters mission two jumps out from Lugh. Unexplored system. No nav beacon. Did about ten USS. Nothing. No kill warrant scanners on anyone. Got an updated contract but didn't accept. Nothing. Flying around the system for about an hour. Gah lost rep.

Must be a bug, I had similar problems. Now sticking to hunting pirates. . . Competitor pirate corps that is lol

I tried it once, destroyed one clear ship in Lugh USS, got 6600 bounty on me and went to empty system, and no one hunt me in 1 hour USS jumping, then i drop it and went to pay my bounty on federal outpost.

BTW: PPOLTT 4846 went into a Boom state. Might be good as they cant expand in this state i think and we could cut of their influence durring their Boom.

I did a few missions against them yesterday, does their influence change? (It was 73,8 as i remember)

Their influence is the same as yesterday 73.8%.
Trading between Edwards Hub and CSG stations would help (both) to steal influence from PPOLTT 4846. But cant do it on my own because i cant dock on Edwards with my Type 7.
Maybe someone with a Python could do some trade runs just to see what impact in influence it would have for the Freedom Party of LTT 4846.

Offtop joke.
Orfeboy, we should take responsibility over vice president death, to attract Fed attention!
It's almost 90% influence, and no even one Farragut Battle Cruiser around... ))))

(Just a joke, Orfeboy do not take it close to heart please)

While federas was busy with cathing vice presidents body from swimingpool, our powerfull sect, leaded by sunfaced high priest Orfeboy
fooled over 9x,xx% minds of 13 billion Lugh population. MUHAHAHAHA! Ok, Lugh is still under control of Federation. But Sesuang is our!
Our shamans from ring of choosen with full responsability authoritary stated, that it is they are conjured Federation's vice president death,
and any Farragut Battle Cruser will be immediatly sent to the stars furnace by ionizing radiation protection, gifted by God Lughvanabunga.
Soon agricilturial Harstfield Market will be our... And then stock of miracle weed will be enough for everyone!

That may not be a bad idea at all... Lets discuss the pros and cons of such an action... :)

If we were to do so it might get FD's attention and they might send a battle cruiser to crush us. If so would this be considered a war in the same way a conflict zone works? Or would it just be a battle zone where we would need X amount of victories in order to remove the battleship? Would we then be left with the same situation we have right now and Lugh still in control of the Feds minus the battleship?

On the downside it might stir up nothing but Federal supporters who come down to have a go at us (players) and FD would take no such action. Even though I really like this idea and from a story perspective is fantastic drama (something I am very supportive of) I wonder if we might jepordise our situation when we are so close to our goal.

I realise that there seems to be no end to this campaign and even now when we clearly have the majority here in Lugh that there still seems like no signs of flipping the stations. I believe this however to be a bug and FD will be well aware of it. Michael has been popping in daily and must know what is going on. So either there is something we have not quite done correctly yet, there is a bug slowing things down or else we need to get through the boom stage before another state can kick in.

I am really tempted to run with this though as it sounds fantastic. I would be eager to hear what others think.

I'd prefer to let the background sim flip this system, despite the bugs. The main reason I'm participating in this is to give Frontier data they can use to get the background sim working right. Having Frontier flip the system manually pretty would end my involvement in this project. Which would be a pity, because this is a lot of fun from a role-playing point of view, but my original plans were to do this kind of thing in the Empire, not in Lugh.

I believe Sesuang was flipped automatically, and developers just need more tuning and bug fixes in background simulation, and we are giving good source of information to make this goal.

So do I. Before i through Baladin was manually flipped, but now i've change my mind. We had bugged civil war, in result of which we got Balandin under control, which should be over already, but did not finish by some reason with starport owner change.

I think we should run with this. more attention paid to what we are doing could only help us. FD would see us in the spotlight and would be almost forced to fix any/all issues with the back end to keep the event entertaining for those keeping track. it will be the biggest player-driven game event to date.

we are too numerous for a military action to really be a problem, and I think the possibility of more major developer attention than we've already been getting will be nothing but a boon for us.

I vote yes to claiming interstellar murder! who's with me?!

How do you get the influence scale down to tenths? In the influence panel it only shows integers. Is it somewhere in the System Map as I can see the specific faction percentage if I select a station?

Great! Let me then throw humor aside and try to write some history!

Main idea.
1. CSG is a powerfull sect!
2. They were sending their aggitators into the all cormers of populated galaxy, to reсruite pilots to help them, hinding behind ideas or rebelation.
3. Later thouse pilots were turned into the cult followers.
4. The true goal of CSG is to take over Hartsfield Market to plant rare drug 'Lugh mirracle weed', and reqruite more and more followers.
5. Now, when they almost took Lugh under control, they were declassified by federation's special agents.
6. After declassifation, CSG stop hiding and acted with a statement about VP death responsability and openly charge the Federation.
