Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

I'm not sure if anyone else thought of this, but I just submitted a ticket (39463) for the continuing civil war cooldown between LDF and SNLtd. It should've expired days ago, but probably hasn't because the civil war happened before the 1.1.02 patch.

Have you been on the sauce? :)

Nice slang :) I never heared this before and i have to say i really enjoyed it here on this forum till now (helped me also to get better with my english). Thank you all for that :)

Yeh sorry for my last post i was a bit upset and statements like the one i made are just contra-productive and they doesnt help anyone. This forum is full of negativism anyway.

Overall i doesnt have much free time at the moment and to relativise my last post a bit..i enjoyed every minute i spend with this game and beeing part of orfeboys experiment.

PS: And i got a closed beta test invitation for Heroes of the Storm. But from my first impressions it cant stand Dota's 2 complexity in no way. Thankfully for beeing no timekiller.

Good job you did over the weekend !

I put about 1 million in profit into it last night from computer components and prog cells.I was out all day yesterday on RL commitments so it was all I could manage. Saturday night I spent bounty hunting in my Sidewinder to see what effect that would have (did not destroy any CSG pirates) I seen you were on last night Mauze, how much did you do? Would be interesting to know so we can work out how we achieved .7%?

Keep pushing it guys. Every little bit is making our case stronger and stronger... Crush LFE and then FD will have to explain why we have not seen a civil war. Even if certain criteria are causing not to trigger it will highlight without a doubt that the system must be tweaked. How can you have such a divide without SOMETHING, ANYTHING happening? It seems unrealistic to me, or am I missing something?

In fairness I think at that point the boys over in FD will have to think about writing in some code to cater for this sort of situation.

Over the course of the weekend I did about 25 missions and about 1.5m profit from the missions and the trade that I did as I was going between systems.

Title: Lugh Ambassador demands answers for child dissaprearences.

Lugh independence Ambassador Éamonn Uí Laoighre, the leading spokesman for the Crimson State Group held his third rally today on the steps of Government Buildings, Constitution City, Alioth. After a heated speech in which he spared no quarter for the Federation and their mistreatment of the Lugh population which he repeatedly referred to as 'The Sons of Conn', Uí Laoighre was met by a standing appraisal from the massive crowds assembled. Why there has been no response as of yet from Alliance representatives is anyones guess. The rally ended in a tumultuous riot with the peace custodians wading in to deal discipline when a branch of the crowd started throwing 'gunrot hog pupae' at the doors of Government buildings due to their dissatisfaction of an official Alliance response.

Perhaps this issue is just too hot for Alioth officials to address at these current times, but this did not stop Éamonn Uí Laoighre making another bold statement in interview after the rally about the eye opening numbers of child dissapearences from orbiting stations in the Lugh system of which blame he left squarly at the feet of 'Lugh For Equality Party' who currently hold Government in the system.

"Our children are dissapearing, in the past year we have seen the numbers rise to 25,431 individual cases. You will not get these figures from the Federation. Of course not! Where I ask you can children go on a space station if they have not been transported away on a starship to some other location? The Federation are keeping this information secured and any enquiries are met with endless red tape. The Sons of Conn have had enough and we demand answers!"

When asked to speculate on what he believed were the motivations for so many dissapearences he commented "It does not take a genius to figure out what is going on here, a simple comparison drawn between the dissapearence graph statistic versus the recent supply hike in animal meat in the outlying systems speaks a story all of its own. They treat our people as little more than animals and The Sons of Conn will take it no more! We demand complete seperation from all Federal ties imediately! One people, one system under Lugh's glorious light!"

Mr. Brookes is it possible that two or more seperate civil wars between more minor factions in a system can take place at the same time ?
For example in Lugh the Crimson State group with Lugh for Equality and Silver Natural LTD with Lugh defence force. If its not possible i think the problem in Lugh for CSG to trigger another civil war with LFE now is that there is an ongoing civil war cooldown (since 07.02.2015) triggered by the Silver Natural LTD and Lugh Defence force (both faction holding 0.1% influence).
Can you tell us why CSG (pending states boom and lockdown) doesnt trigger the next civil war with LFE (pending state boom). Is it because of CSG's lockdown cooldown or the ongoing civil war cooldown between SN LTD and LDF ?
If its the ongoing cooldown period outgoing by SN LTD and LDF which CSG holds off to get into civil war with LFE would you be so kind and reset the cooldwon period of SN LTD and LDF (they went into civil war and cooldown before the patch yesterday) to three days because waiting another 20 days would be very frustating for us here in Lugh as we working now for about three months for this project.

Thx for the ticket.

Thursday and Friday something around 25 Mio. each day. I did not play much over the weekend... 2-3 Mio. each maybe.

Just did 2 millions on the fly.
Maybe the servers arent updating not exactly the last days inputs the following day. Yes i know its a big universe but under circumstances the P2P system my cause that update lag.
And talking about bounty hunting on saturday orfeboy, the blue pointer up is there again at CSG's pending state lockdown (could mean also that we are not in a lockdown cooldown).

Overall i think if nobody makes an intervention from outside we have to wait till march for a possible civil war for CSG against LFE in the best case (because we were unlucky with the timing of the three days civil war cooldown patch).

PS: I dont like those 0.1 % etc civil wars overall. Just look at Belarsuk.

Hi,

I guess if the title of this thread is still live then you should factor in what I've been doing over the last couple of weeks. I arrived near the end of the civil war between SN and LDF. Since my character has a federal navy rank I took the side of SN and destroyed 82 LDF ships over the last couple of days of the war. I then did a bunch of missions for LFE and also bounty hunted (about 300k per day of bounties, wanted from all factions, cashing in at Cavendish Ring). During this time LFE's influence rose from 11-14% and I virtually never saw another player. I then more or less stopped during last week but when I was playing I saw far more players and LFE lost a lot of ground quickly. Over the weekend I did about 10-15 missions per day for LFE and did about 300k per day of bounty hunting. This time I avoided LFE wanted ships because I'd noticed that killing wanted ships drops your standing with the ship owning faction and I wanted to be offered the small number of LFE missions available. In actual fact it seemed to me that I killed more SN ships then any others but whilst my standing with CSG, DoL and LDF all fell my standing with SN has been unaffected - maybe because SN are aligned with the 'government'? At any rate my actions seemed to slow the decline of LFE over the weekend.

So...it seems to me things are working as FD intended. When (so far as I could tell) I was more or less on my own in Lugh I could shift LFE's influence by about 1-1.5% per day taking missions and bounty hunting all wanted ships (inc. LFE). When I was barely playing but the system got much busier (with I presume CSG players) LFE's influence fell about 2.5% per day. Later when I was playing for LFE and CSG players were also busy LFE influence fell at much reduced rate. By the way - I did very little trading at anytime. The cargo capacity of the Cobra I have in Lugh is 20T. Generally if I had a mission "pick up 4T of non-lethal weapons" I'd pick up 20T to keep my income ticking over but that's it.

So I hope nobody is offended - I think I was fulfilling the title of this thread and "testing out this persistent universe" - with positive results I think. I am still going to be in and around Lugh for the present but I'm rather bored of running Fruit and Veg missions in the name of Democracy so I don't think my activities will make any dent in CSG's progress. However if you want to strike a blow for CSG and take a shot at my Cobra feel free - I fly cheap replaceable ships :) Add me if you want to know if I'm online (I use my real name in game).
