Lets test this persistent universe and see if FD are true to their word.

what groups will everyone else join once the lugh csg thing is done and dusted ? it takes a long time to flip a system, maybe this process needs to be allowed to happen quicker. I guess the invisible hand is holding political changes backin game. I was watching an old david braben youtube video on how things should work in game his vision so to speak we are only 10% of the way there and aleady into 1.2. What is holding the programmers back from releasing this potential ?

Anyone in the know....where's the nearest system selling a rare relative to Lugh please?

Shinrarta Dezhra is indeed the closest. Next is Medb, but the station is a long way from the primary. Then there's CD-75 661, then Mulachi and Jaradharre which are both also distant stations, then Tiolce and Epsilon Indi.

I created the account a while ago, but given the release of the GalNet post I've decided to start being active with a Twitter account for the Crimson State Group: @ED_CSG

I chose the account name following ED_Galnet and others that have used the ED_ prefix. I'm thinking of posting once a day with the influence data and a bit of a summary of our current thinking on the forum. If any regulars are regular Twitter users (I've not seen any of you!) and would like to join me in updating it, please send me a PM!

Very good :)

OK guys, I just pumped another 1,000,000 of profit into my account off the back of trade in Lugh. I seen a lot of you out there tonight including Mauze who is doing the work of three of me so whatever about the past few days, I refuse to see how we could not have earned a gain tomorrow. If we lose ground again tomorrow then there is most definitely something fishy going on. I suspect FD are playing with their numbers again. It is important that we fend this off as best we can. We will get our war if we an keep it high. We just have to hang in there. Don't let them beat us down. keep it strong and we will prevail!

Lugh Lámhfhada abú!

Well i think there is something broken now. We lost again -0.5% influence.

PS:

I dont know how you ladies and guys see that picture but i have the feeling that there are a far more independent systems out there now since background simulation startet.

I was inaktive for a while and on exploration before but did they all flip the last weeks ?

Just take HO HSI or Sesuang. And Independent Eravate Free got the uperhand again in Eravate system.

The system must be broken... how can we lose influence after the trading marathon tonight? It looks like trading is not helping at all anymore.. guess i will switch to missions today, to see if it changes anything.

But i really hope the issue with CSG not being able to go to civil war is getting adressed soon.

I still think that a "0.1% influence" bug has been fixed, and the system is re-balancing itself. I wouldn't worry about losing a few fractions of a percent of influence, pushing a minor faction up to 97% influence in a couple of months was clearly unintended behaviour. What would have been more realistic, IMO, would be some kind of power struggle (war, civil war, civil unrest, election, constitutional convention, Federal crackdown, etc.) at somewhere between 40% and 60%.

Or maybe someone's helping the other sides just to troll us.

Yeh i did about 5.5 Millions that night. I Know thats nothing compared to what you did in your Anaconda but only in point of trading its absurd that we lost -0.5% and LFE got +0.5% influence.

What kind of missions do you suggest ?

Why is Silver Natural LTD then still stuck at 0.1% influence if this bug has been fixed ?

This trolls must be hiding in single player then.

I traded about 1 million profit last night, but didn't see many commanders in lugh at all.

With 96% influence shouldn't we have flipped the remaining stations by now?

This is the known issue for the system. The influence for CSG has crossed the threshold for flipping some time ago, so won't retrigger. We are investigating.

On a separate comment the influences for most of the other minor factions are trending up (slightly), so it looks like you have some competition in the system.

Ah, interesting. So one solution would be to cease all CSG activity and work for the opposition, then when CSG go below the threshold, switch back to working for them again. Tricky, due to reputation problems. I have a second account that has never been to Lugh so I could bring her in. Not a serious suggestion though!

on the specific issue of investigation can we get a bit of a loose eta on a fix, can we expect it within a week a month or a few months, just helps us to avoid recovering it if its a complex issue that is going to take some time to fix, if its a simple fix we can expect an confirmed eta of a few days

I've not been involved but I'd just like to say it sounds like you guys are doing an epic job, such dedication is admirable.

Keep up the excellent work, ironing out the the little niggles will help everyone long term.

I don't think you'll ever be able to maintain the influence at such a high level indefinitely it is bound to fluctuate a bit, unless 100% of people are doing everything correctly, which is not guaranteed.

This does work, but its a real PITA and tough to get right.

I was around, playing photographer for the evening, including trying to get a screenshot of orfeboy who was very slippery:

On missions, I've been mostly doing "fetch" missions, but I've been undecided whether to take the alcohol/weapons missions that cause lockdown. Skipping those significantly reduces the availability of decent missions.
