I went to a conflict zone last night to see if there were any war mongering parking inspectors that needed dealing with. So I pulled up alongside one in a Cobra and slid the wing of my own Cobra down his flank. And guess what? The bastage opens fire. Managed to take him out then another three of them jumped me. Fargin' revenue raising bastages! Managed to take out another two of them before I got badly shot up from behind. Got out of there with 7% hull remaining and a hefty repair bill. A quick smoke in the oxygen based air of the local station, a quick repair, a fresh paint job, a new burst laser, and a few drinks with some of the religious nutjobs (no offense) in the station's bar and it was back at 'em. Played it smarter this time and I only took on parking inspectors who were a long distance away from their mates. Stops 'em gangin' up on ya.
Grudges? Yep. I hold 'em.
Fine me for loitering over a landing pad for more than 2.0004 seconds and you've got an enemy for life.
Son of Conn? Dunno - I thought me Dad's name was Charlie.

There's nothing in that GalNet story that says that there actually is a war. Sure, we're all expecting the war to trigger as soon as 1.2 drops, but is that going to be today? Tuesday is a terrible day for updates for me, because I spend all evening patching, and I can't play on Wednesday evenings, so I'm going to miss all the action. I will never witness any events that happen within 48 hours of a patch.

So we are expecting some change to come when 1.2 drops.
If this includes Conflict zones for CSG I will be there. If as I imagine that it will take a few days to kick off, I'll be running rares or guns to I Caranie for the rest of the week.

You missed the -0.5% for LfE which is the best news in today's stats.
Slightly bizarre numbers for LDF and DoL. Perhaps their war is seesawing. DoL's 0.3% is more than just gain from LfE's loss. There must be some way of making big gains in a Civil War.
There's some wonderful advocacy on the Embassy of Lugh thread... Roybe is really getting into role and lovely to see other CSG contributors! Good job!

Wings will make killing traders viable. You can outrun a single ship, multiple ships is a different story. Wing up with friends that like to fight, the stations will pay a 5% bonus based on profit of anyone providing wing support. Traders turtle up. It is better to shorten your jump distance with some heavy armor and possibly a higher level of shields than lose your cargo for you and your escort.

I'm not setup for combat here. But it seems we can tip the ongoing DOL and LDF war in a certain direction.
I'm only trading in Mobius group because of exactly this, wings vs single trader is a game killer.
I'd not spotted the Mikunn thread's Mercenaries list on the front page... Orfeboy, would that make sense for us? It would be create to have easy access to the CMDR names that we know to be members of this thread (I'd suggest that you have to have posted here to be included). Sorry that it creates yet more work for you...
