Not sure if this has been already posted (too lazy to check), but if you bought Horizons and have changed your mind and want the lifetime sub, a quick support ticket to FD sorted out a refund quickly.
When will the expansion pass be taken off the store?
No date for this right now but we will let you know before we withdraw it from sale.

Well, can't pull off the "gone forever" trick twice, can you ?;-)
You would hope so. Surely even FD realise that not all players still 'have the faith' to buy blind. But if not, then the choice seems obvious to me: buy the lifetime pass, or walk away for a few years, and pick up a pile of stuff for next to nothing. The choices in between seem much more expansive.I wonder if there will be some form of announcement as promised (see below) - maybe something in today's newsletter.
...until next time![]()
This might mean that the lifetime passes have sold very well, starting eating up future profits since so many will have lifetime. Just a guess ofcourse.
I think it is hard to make sweeping conclusions, I suspect they have planned this being short period anyway. Of course, it sale would be disappointing we would see extension of this, however I guess they got aprox. as much as they expected.
It is all pure speculation at this stage. They presumably expect another pile of people to buy between now and the deadline: deadlines are intended to focus the mind of those that are undecided. I just hope they give a little more information about what is coming, in season 2, at least.

Well, 35 pounds versus 120 pounds are quite a difference isn't it.
Commander PiLhEaD rested back in a comfy chair with an air of smug self-satisfaction as he flicked idly through the forum. For he had purchased the lifetime expansion back in beta for only thirty five of the currency the terrans called pounds.
'Worthers, I shall be taking my tea in my man-cave, with two chocolate hob-nobs, thank you.'
'Very well sir.' Worthers' voice was the colour of the ancient and rare woods that lined the study.
