Cobra MK IV through Lifetime Expansion Pack?

So I'm interested to buy the lifetime expansion pack today. Assuming the Cobra MK IV is better than the Cobra MK III, I just wonder, will I get the Cobra MK IV from the E:D Horizon beta release or not?

I'm looking forward for an answer today, before it runs out.

I would expect that, as the LEP includes Horizons, and that the Cobra Mk IV is unlocked for all first year players who also purchase Horizons, then buying the LEP will unlock the Cobra Mk IV for players who do so.

Yes you would get it. Any one that owns the original game and then upgrades to Horizons via just normal expansion purchase or the LEP will get it.

Okay, but this image brings up another question. I own a Steam version of ED, is there any cheaper version to get the expansion pack? Also, I hope to get a steam key very fast for every expansion. Even buying the ED Horizon will only unlock the Cobra Mk IV so you have to pay Cr in any case, right?

Cheaper version? No, or at least not yet that I'm aware of. I also got the game initially through Steam. The LEP basically just upgrades your account, so I'm not sure why you would need a new Steam key. I have the beta access through the launcher after logging in and the launcher launchers as per normal, through Steam.

Yes, you will still have to buy the Cobra Mk. IV in game. This was done to avoid a "pay to win" scenario, which I appreciate.

It's sad that you're seeing it like this! But Commander, think about that feeling after they released another incomplete buggy patch called horizons... it's your disappointment though.. time is ticking...

Well he has a point, certain things are undeveloped (e.g. item and equipment inventory, space bookmarks, route saving, etc.) and if and when they are fixed I hope they are part of the core game rather than part of some pay-for expansion.

If I were deciding to buy the LEP (Which I am not, its too much money when looking at it from any angle) I would probably want to see some road map from devs saying what their vision of core game is and what are the paid expansions.

It's a bit of a gamble. I certainly like the game economy and that it is treating equally everyone, but in cases like this some monthly plan or F2P package would help to overcome hurdle of such big chunk of money.

I used to say so before the beta ended... now when i see clearly I would rather call it being stupid and naive (I`m not calling you naive, just my former self at that particular point of time, I`m glad you still believe... I no longer can)

It`s like with gods... it was nice believing as a kid... now it just seems pathetic
