You could just buy the lifetime expansions for your foster child in Sudan and accomplish both.

It will be probably barren and devoid of content, so even if you dont like that child that muchand hes unlikely to reach adulthood, i say support him. Best of the two ways to throw money through the window.

Thanks for getting in touch. Let me break it down for you:

1. No, the Lifetime Expansion Pass does not include a second copy of Elite: Dangerous.
2. The pass goes into effect right now! You will be able to access every expansion and beta we ever release!
3. When the beta is made available, you'll be able to select it from the box next to the "PLAY" button in the launcher.
4. One account = one email address, so you'd need to make a second email address for a second account.

Yeah... this was already sorted out in the other thread that has since been merged with this one. Kind of a shame in a way, since that one was made more to answer questions from people who knew rather than people having to ask them over and over again.

I wish people wouldn't start general topic related threads unless they have something meaningful to contribute to the community by making them. Maybe then we wouldn't have as many misunderstandings roaming around the forum. No fault of the moderators really, as they're just trying to keep things neat and concise. Threads merge by post time instead of content, of course.

Don't mind me too much. It's just a little irritating is all.

I took it, too. It seems to be expensive but I'm planning to stay with Elite and don't want to rebuy every new season. I guess it will pay out when Season 4 arrives Anyway, I like the idea to give FDEV some money they can use to improve this great game.

Hi there,
according to the info on Lifetime pass:
"The Lifetime Expansion Pass also includes access to all Elite: Dangerous Beta builds to gain an early glimpse at upcoming game content before release plus exclusive content."

I wonder if anyone who purchased the game regularly and bought this Lifetime pass, has now perks of the Beta backer, so Early access to upcoming content like Ships for 100 cr before they release to public (can't test now) and lowered rebuy cost for ships.

The original insurance discount was not offered with the first lifetime pass or pre-order so probably not.

The original LTP didn't give you beta access before either so who knows maybe they will add that in too.

I am not sure I understood your question, but basically ships are cheaper on beta servers. So if you have beta access and log on the beta server yes you will also get cheap ships.

Beta access is not the same as early access. You're not getting anything ahead of the other players. The point of it is to test the game. Cheap ship costs etc is just to facilitate that - it doesn't carry over to the release build.
