Limpet for free cam

I would like to see the free cam become a drone that I launch and controll with my ds4 controller. that way i could fly as far as the limpet has fuel for and footage wont black out would be cool for thargoid bases and such Lokkig for pois that sort of thing o7

The camera used to be controlled like your was flying it. It was horrible, slow, and very limited.

I like it how it is, but I'd like more range on planetary surfaces.

Thats what I hope making it a drone could do or just add a drone cam feature it would also be good for finding fissures while mining o7

A separate camera/spy drone would be fun to use, but requiring another module and cargo space, just to admire your ship is simply unreasonable.

But basically what you're talking about is a FPV view R/C limpet.

I think this game needs to have a new low-signature, stealthy, long range recon drone module. For when you wanna sit 15km away from a settlement or installation, and then send a drone in to do some hacking or your dirty work.

At least it would bring back the meaning of COVERT in Covert Missions.
