List of Earth-like worlds, v3

Done. Thanks for the info.
I have another bone question now. Had a look @ 2.5 however I must be missing something. I know I have submitted 5 entries in the past, however I can only find 1 by me now. Am I missing something here?

They are probably in the "Data - WIP" sheet - but ColF had a mini-SNAFU and wiped the First Discoverers from it :). Hopefully it's an easy fix for Marx, at which point feel free to add the missing data for your entries and get them moved to the main sheet :)

Thanks. I will wait then until Marx has had a look. If its lost I will just search by system name and populate that way.

Here's another 7 ELW's that I found on another trip to Colonia

Sure, the damage has been undone. For future reference, by pressing Ctrl-Z you can undo your recent actions - in Google Sheets, that is. Don't try it at home!

@ CmdrJonah: Thanks for the help! Your access should be all set up now.

@ gooddoc: Welcome back! Say, could you provide a screenshot for EOL PROU MQ-H C25-413 AB 4? The second Earth-like in the system. There's a screenie for the first, but not the latter. Thanks in advance!
Also, if in the future you could provide all the exact star types in the system, that would also be great. Stuff that I can insert without having to look at the galaxy map gets priority.

Thanks Marx I am so relieved. When I did it I panicked and closed everything down.
Ctrl-Z finger at the ready from now on :)

There's also something that I forgot to add to my previous post. I'm curious: does anybody here have any landable moons with volcanism orbiting their ELW(s)? I'd like to look for some of those shiny new surface features, and I'd rather do it on a moon that's a bit more special.

Also, a nice milestone: as of yesterday, we have more entries filled out than we haven't. So we're a bit over halfway there. There are still lots to go, of course, but at least I think I've done the more rare kinds already - or most of them, at the very least. So for example, when it comes to the exotic star count, that should be accurate. (Except system main neutron stars, because there are bound to be more where the ELW is orbiting another star.) I'd still very much welcome any help with this though, as there are plenty of entries to fill out, and every one that you do increases your chance to find your next ELW by 0.1%!
(Actually, it doesn't.)

This is something I'd be wondering about myself - a quick check of all my ELWs with landable moons in the list so far, and 0 of them have Volcanism. You know which ELW does have a moon that has volcanism though? IC 1396 SECTOR RU-F D11-7. My list of things to do includes another visit there now (though not any time soon!)... and I've also added "ELW with active Volcanism" to my ever-growing ELW bucket list.

Might be worth adding moon volcanism as a Note in the list if/when we find others...

Oh, thanks! I didn't notice that, even though I've been there twice. I've updated the notes on it again - I added one about the tourism beacon before, but forgot to mention it here. On that note, does anybody know if any other ELW has a tourist beacon around it?
Also, in the future (depending on how long the upcoming exploration CG will last) I think I'll try surveying that moon, looking for volcanism. Anyone want to join me on such a mini-expedition?

I'm on the long fourth leg of my grand tour exploration loop, passing about 9000 LY corewards and anticlockwise of Sol from the Eta Carina nebula. This trip's been quite a desert so far with regard to Earth-likes. This one is only the second I've found on this leg, and as (ill) fortune would have it, it's the only previously-visited system I've seen for 2000 LYs. So I'm filing the report on it now, rather than waiting until I next make port and hand it in with my first-discoveries.

Note the "@" at the start of the discovering CMDR's name. Hope that doesn't cause trouble for the database.

Surprised to find one so close to the bubble...

First off, a minor edit to the templates in the first post. I've changed it to be certain that the screenshot URL field should contain the URL itself, not just a link with the text "screenshot". It's not a very big deal, unless there are many such entries, as I have to change them by hand, thanks to Google Sheets. So please, just put the URL there.

@ Sopel Krol: Thanks! While you're here, could you update your old screenshots for COL 285 SECTOR GW-V D2-53, COL 285 SECTOR WE-X C2-7, WREGOE EK-T C18-2, COL 70 SECTOR MB-X D1-4 and WREGOE QK-N D7-2? They all give 404 errors now.

@ Jimmy Firyh: Welcome to the list! Quite rare to find new ones so close to the old bubble these days. Same goes to Speccy.

@ Sapyx: Ouch. Well, to be fair, I myself only tend to stop to scan Earth-likes too, so there would be stretches of stars where another explorer would find everything untagged, then bam, there'd be an Earth-like that was already discovered by me. Unfortunately, it happens.

Two more to add, courtesy of my recent visit to Hawking's Gap. The one in Blau Eur has a good view of the NGC 5606 star cluster, which is the main highlight of the trip between Hawking's Gap and the bubble (which isn't saying much, admittedly).

Like when in season one i made a 2000ly detour to scan that wolf reyet 55k from sol and it was the only thing tagged i saw in weeks...
At least an unsubmitted elw is always precious for the list.
