List of Earth-like worlds, v3

@ Agatosh: See the terraformable moon around Leami ZW-R d5-8410? It demonstrates quite well how strong the Forge simulates water as a greenhouse gas. A nice example to keep in mind. (Thanks for posting the moon's screenshot as well!)

For something that came up in another thread, I made a quick list of systems where there's only one ELW and nothing else present: you can find it here.

There were 2,178 possible candidates on the ELW list, and I could download 1,512 of those with a simple wget - didn't want to mess around with digging out the rest. Since solo planets can be identified at a glance, it didn't take very long to flip through the images. The end results: 23 hits, of which four are probable ones. That means that not the entire system is visible on the screenshot, and there's no EDSM data available to check.

Out of those 23, eight are in neutron star systems, much more than they would be otherwise. Also out of the total, only seven are in solo star systems, and six of those are neutron stars: so, only a single main sequence star (A5 VB) that had just the one ELW body.

I filled in a small batch of 14 ELWs to the submissions list. Found those on a quick tour through some areas, where I did some prospecting with the new FSS in early January.

@ ReggieNoble: the ELM with a landable moon of its own is already a very nice find, but binary ELMs? I'll have to check if someone even found those before, they might be a first. In any case, congrats on them!

I checked, and it looks like those are the first binary ELMs reported. Congrats on your find! I'll have to update the rarity calculation to take these into account as well. Also, I'd recommend posting it to the GMP as well.
Now for trinary ELMs :D

Thanks for your work with this ELW list marx.
i didnt know that this was such a nice find.
So i need a good name for this system for the GMP. Hmm, any suggestions CMDRs? Send me a pm with a name for this POI and i will choose the best.

Still catching up with DW2

I think the Stellar Forge might have had one too many of "the good stuff" when it made Eoch Flyi AA-A H210. The ELW orbits the class B star, and that star is only two million years old. That seems like bit too short of a timespan for a planet to form, and not to mention, for life to emerge.

That's some find. Sole planet around that star, rotates in just over a day, but almost 99 years per orbit - and look at the eccentricity. Are you able to get a decent shot of it in orrery at all?

Time for February's update then. 298 ELWs this time around, and many of them from Agatosh, who zoomed past me, MattG and Picker to the #6 spot, nearing 500 first discoveries of his own and having passed it in total submissions. Congrats!

Here comes a very rare event: we have a new highest rarity score. Congratulations to ReggieNoble, whose binary ELMs in Myumbao AA-A h362 are now the current top scorers!

And yeah, that Eoch Flyi ELW is pretty odd. One could say that the black hole could be older, and the planet was captured by the star... but looks like the Forge made the black hole two million years old too, so yeah.
Hm. I wonder what the system's total age would be.

Back from my recent trip not too far from the bubble. On a side note, the form template at the start of this thread did not have a spot for notes that I see on some entries.
