List of Earth-like worlds, v3

The first four, below, could be rolled into just two, as they are Binary Earth-likes - wasn't sure how to group them, so did them seperatly and took screenshots of each.
First off, welcome to the list! That was a pretty nice haul there, and binary Earth-likes are quite rare. Also, taking screenshots of yours separately was the right choice, because we list one planet per row now. Thanks!

Hello and thank you :) great list and love what you've done, takes a lot of work. I was looking for ringed earth-likes but I got those instead... I expect someone out there has found a binary or trinary bunch of earth-likes with rings around them ;)

Got back from my expedition on my main. 398,000 ly, give or take. Grinded LYR R5 last week and just finished selling the data today. Cataloged a few ELWs on the way. Hope it helps!

Note, two binary pairs and an ELW moon in here, but no ringed ELWs (yet!).

First off, to everyone: I could still use some help with filling out the remaining entries, with the star types from the galaxy map. There are a bit over 500 remaining, and I would very much appreciate some more help. Once it's done, I'll start working on an automatic ELW rarity score: something to show how rare a given entry is compared to the rest on the list. It should be interesting to see how things are distributed, and hey, it should also give another score to people, and some more bragging rights about very rare finds.
"My ELW's rarity level is OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAND"
Ahem.
So, if you could help out with even a few entries from the "Data - To do" list, this would happen sooner. If you'd like to help, just request edit access on Google Sheet, and please note in the message who you are here on the Frontier forums.

@ thadius856: Ooh, that's one big haul, and with coordinates too. Thanks! Once I've gone through it, it should land you close to the top ten. Right on, Commander!
Something I forgot to mention earlier: in the future, please include the screenshot URL as the text too, not just as the link. This saves me some time from converting them when I look at the screenies. The URL is stored there as text so that automatically downloading the screenshots as a batch. I likes to hoard them and call them my precioussss Which is useful for doing OCR and such on them.

First off, to everyone: I could still use some help with filling out the remaining entries, with the star types from the galaxy map. There are a bit over 500 remaining, and I would very much appreciate some more help..........

You can delete all 24 entries for my 2nd CMDR hamstelBaster from the list "Data - To do". They are already in the List "Data" ;)

Ran a regex replace. All URL's unfurled and post updated.

There are now 0 entries on "Data - To do" missing star types from galmap. ;)

Frankly, I'm amazed. That was a tremendous help, and I won't forget it.

And with that, the new list is complete and the old one is now obsolete. Time for me to start tinkering with new stuff. Thanks again to everyone who helped!

Some interesting black hole systems, but by far the most interesting is Drumboa AA-A h336. 2 ELMs around the same star, but it wasn't until I got really close and could see there were in fact 2 orbit lines and not 1 that I realised how close they are. The closest one is 24.4 LS away from the star and the other is 24.7. When I visited the systems, they were some ~5.61LS away from each other. Assuming I calculated it right, the closer one will pass the outer one in a few days time - and they should be just ~0.3LS away from each other. If the lighting wasn't broken because it's a black hole main system, I expect it'd make for some decent screenshots.

Very nice! A wanderer hunting the curiosities of the galaxy indeed. That double ELM you mentioned sounds quite intriguing: I wonder if their orbits are stable. I don't suppose you'd have some data to feed into the Elite Galaxy Online orrery? It would be interesting to see how the system looks.
Also, if that system's not a good tourism beacon candidate, I don't know what is. Even if the lighting is currently bugged.

Tourist notes:

Blua Hypa: A nice enough place; though none of the parameters are a perfect match for Earth, overall it's a nice planet to live on. Warmish, gravity not too light, air's a little thin. Elsewhere in the system, the next two planets out are a pair of terraformables, one already a waterworld. Be aware that there are no rings, asteroids or airless-landable planets in this system, so it's not a great place to be stranded or needing repairs. Perhaps the most noteworthy feature of this planet is its proximity to one of the oddities of the galaxy, the Glowing Green Giant in Blua Hypa HT-F d12-1226, only about 10 LYs away.

Byaa Aerb: the first of a small cluster of ELWs high above the galactic plane in this region. Note that this is a different system to the one I posted in this thread last week; that one was already tagged, this one was not. This world has perfect-match Earth gravity, though in other respects it is quite alien: an archipelago planet with about 90% ocean cover, it's cold, with huge icecaps and a thick atmosphere. Instead of a moon, there's a large terraformable waterworld for a companion. The next planet in is also terraformable.

Puekoa: This planet looks brownish on the system map, probably because of the tinting of the dim M-class star it orbits. This is the first "neutron planet" I've found, though the ELW doesn't orbit the neutron star itself, but around the red dwarf at a comfortable 42,000 Ls away. Stats appear pretty good at first glance, very Earth-like gravity and temperature. The year is also a pretty close match to Earth at 353 days but, as I gather is common for ELWs orbiting red dwarfs, it's tidally locked to the star, so the day is 353 days long too. This is the first tidally-locked-to-star ELW I've tagged. I'm left wondering if FD plan on rendering such worlds differently once they become landable, as they almost certainly wouldn't look like a "normal" Earth-like - though scientists still debate what exactly they might look like. One theory holds that the sunward face would end up being a single, permanent hemisphere-wide hurricane. I didn't end up checking any of the HMCs in the system for terraformability. The dim brown dwarf is very remote at 232,000 Ls.

Prua Phoe: Just a few jumps away from arriving at Sacaqawea, I found this Untagged little ELW. It's orbiting the K-class secondary star, but fortunately it's a fairly compact system and the secondary star is only 4300 Ls away from the jump-in point. It's another hot jungle planet, or perhaps more swamp than jungle, with no stats falling into the Parallel Earth range. Nearby, the next planet in is terraformable with near-identical mass and gravity to Earth, though the orbiting moon is not unfortunately terraformable as well. The most interesting thing about this world is the sky; as I said, it's very close to Sacaqawea, which is in the middle of the rather large Skaudai Nebula. This nebula is quite prominent in the sky from here; the other more distant nebula in this screenshot is the Flyiedgai Nebula:

More to come tomorrow.

Thanks for the submissions! They're added to the list now.
Also, to clean things up a bit and streamline them (because of upcoming stuff that does increase load), I've created a new sheet to which anyone can request write access to and add their entries there if they wish to. You can find it at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15nMqKA5C-kVHixuLf3-p1uqrkDIoSe0yS84Mw6yQ-Fs/edit?usp=sharing, and it's also listed in the first post. I'd rather not have it be anonymously writable though, to prevent vandalism. I can separate sheets for different people there: if you'd like to have one of your own, let me know in in your edit access message please! Also, I'll modify the original sheet's permissions on the day after tomorrow.

On another note, could someone near Colonia check the few missing distances from Jaques station please? They are at the end of the "Eol Prou sector" sheet: right now, six systems in total.
